I haven't bought an older Coach bag for a while - I have the ones I want for the most part, but today I found a nice 9997 (referred to as Legacy Hobo in the links I've seen) that had an X on the label (indicating it was released to a discount store like TJ Maxx, as far as I know). Made in Mexico, gray leather (a color I don't have), very nice condition. I got it at a consignment store. I was happy!

Got pix? :graucho:

For the motherload of vintage coach bags in a show - watch Murder She Wrote - she carried a ton of vintage coach (as well as having LV luggage when she travels - the accessories on that show are kind of epic once you're looking for them). I've lost count, but she has multiple City bags and Patricia's Legacy bags, I'm going to start a list - my family is getting sick of me pointing them out!

Thanks for the tip!

I just came across this new listing on the bay just this past minute, and I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before done in the ~vintage-ish~ :smile1: Coach GRAMERCY Line/Collection from the 1990's (I'm a huge fan of The ~vintage~ Coach Gramercy Bags & Accessories, have come to learn much about them from various sources including TPF [THANK YOU TPF :tpfrox:] and the ladies in my Family -- with all the informative knowledge from TPF, I have even acquired some beautiful pieces on my own for my personal collection but most of my Vintage Coach Collection comes courtesy of my Mother, Auntie and Grandmother).

Please see this bay link below Ladies, and would love to get your input on Authenticity, etc :

Oh, hi Whateve! I didn't know if anyone would see my posting in time. I think it would probably rehab nicely, but what about the glued in number? Is there ever any problems dunking those? Right now it is inexpensive and a very cheap shipping - especially for Goodwill. Anyway, I hope someone here will get it, rehab and show us! I'm not sure I trust myself enough to do it. I'm a little vigorous with my cleaning routines. :shrugs:

I've never had a glued in number come out during a bath. I've seen some with the number already gone and I wonder if they had to work really hard to get it out of there, since every one I've seen is very secure.
