Hard to say. You could try bathing it again in borax and vinegar which apparently is great for removing stains and for killing mould. This says not to rinse but I would because borax is quite alkaline (thought the vinegar would neutralise it). Leather Therapy is a mould inhibiting conditioner

Got my Sonoma satchel today. She is STUNNING! I even got a dustbag with it (from the Madison collection, but still)! Was NOT expecting that. Also, the seller stuffed the inside of the bag with paper to help it hold its shape. I took all the paper out then quickly stuffed some back in before taking the shots, so that's why she may look a bit crumpled. I wasn't very meticulous with the stuffing. LOL She is the perfect red and in immaculate condition. So, so happy!

Is it just the spots or does it smell like mold? I got an old purse a couple of years ago and the only thing that finally killed the mold was time in the freezer. It took months, but smells sweet now.

Just the spots. No smell other than the lovely Coach leather smell. When I bought last year, it was in mint condition, so it's something that's developed since then.
