I do love it; I moved in yesterday and carried her again today. The seller seems like a good person (she included a thank you card), I just have a different definition of nwot.

My two vintage Italian Madison pieces are a far cry from what is being sold in the outlets today as caviar leather, that's for sure!

This. It seems like all of the thrift stores in my entire state put faaake siggy bags behind the counter, and the authentic leather pieces out on the floor for cheap. It's possible the leather pieces are selling before you find them. For example, I found a (since authenticated) Patricia's Legacy, with a cow's worth of leather, out on the floor for cheap a few days ago at a GW, while the glass case held the ugliest fake siggy backpack I have ever seen. I got a (since authenticated) leather fob on the floor at another GW for $1 yesterday, and the employee that rang it up was sad I found it before he did. They may be out there, so don't give up too quickly.

Thanks, I'll probably sell the sling but keep the wallet, or maybe I'll keep both. :graucho:

I think that BT flap was the only large natural grain flap I've seen that wasn't black. As you said there aren't many out there in nice colours.

Beautiful! It looks brand new. I love that color. I think I'll have to look for some Madison pieces in that color, but if I find any, I doubt I'd get as good of a deal. Nice find!
