bought this because it was cheap-- as a project. creed 0286-113 made in usa with coach leatherware lozenge. but i have my doubts.... opinions requested please!
I think it will be a hard rehab project since it is light colored. Did you get a creed picture? If authentic, it is a gallery bag #4028 from the Lightweights collection. I don't see anything that would lead me to believe that it isn't authentic.

Yup..light colored bags are tough, but you might be able to cover the stains w/ paint..or ask Two.timebags about using acetone on lightweights..My bone lightweight needed a touch up on the strap edges so I just used a dab or two of Linen colored acrylic mixed w/ Lexol..
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!:panic:

I wouldn't use acetone on lightweight leather as the dye doesn't go all the way through the leather. I haven't had much luck with rehabbing lightweight bags so now I avoid them. I'm also going to avoid ivory and white bags in future as I'm not having much fun with the ones I'm working on at the moment.

I'll be interested to see how you go with dye. I think it's hard to get an even finish. I have a white pre-serial NYC Basic Bag that I'm thinking of re-dyeing white.

Ledobe recommends this product. Here's the link to the rehab thread where she posted a pic showing a Gigi 12 months after using it.
