I check the inside of the bag and it that looks blue chances are the bag is a dark navy. I was prepared for tan but did a happy dance when I opened that box! I just measured it across the bottom. It is five inches across - not a tall bag but it holds a lot of stuff! I have most of the colors now although I still "need" a bright purple one and a pink one. I have a purple Tribeca tote but it is very dark. :D

Bright purple is very hard to find and pink is almost impossible. The only pink ones I know of are Bonnie Cashin. Any supposedly classic styles you see in pink are probably fake or dyed.

Finally finished my United Airlines Stewardess. I have posted some pics on the Rehab Thread.

Here are some pics comparing the UA Stewardess with the regular Stewardess. UA Stew is on the right. The UA is mahogany and the regular is burgundy. Makes you wonder why they named them the same!

That is actually a Swag bag. They are extremely rare. They were made before the Musettes. I have one, and it is my holy grail of vintage bags. It took me over a year to find one. Mine has quite a history and was restored by Debi at Sacs Mag. I paid a little less than that for mine, but if I didn't have one, I probably would have bid.

If you got yours from Debi then it was nicely rehabbed. I watch her bags all the time. She does great work for sure and compared to some of the stuff I see her prices are not bad at all. Lucky you for getting one from her.


If the one that did not sell was reasonably priced, I would buy it and rehab it but I suspect I would competing mightily for it as there would be a lot bidders.

Just when I see you post pics of the most stunning...or beautiful...or cute bag, I log on again the next day and you've done it again. I love this bag...the color, the way it opens. I love everything about it. You're an awesome hunter!
