Here is one of my new finds - a very rare suede slim tote (the only one known so far). It is not only suede on the outside but also on the inside. The exterior suede is made by using special brushes on the leather to create a low suede nap. It was a very hard bag to rehab and the first handbag I've ever been afraid of! I've included one photo of it before and a few after shots. The first after shot was most of the way through the rehab while the second front shot is the finished bag.
From the beginning, the front of the bag was in fairly good shape but the back was a whole other story as something had gotten on it which turned the suede a dark shiny gray that did not want to come off. As you can see, the color depends somewhat on the lighting but it pretty much matches the inside of the bag. Hope you like it. It is one of my treasures although I hope I never have to do another one like it.
