Hi KiltyR45,

Thank you for the compliment. Yes I have a black and a red painted Winnie. I know there is controversy with painted vs non-painted restored Coach bags. The reseller did a good job restoring the red one so it doesn’t really bother me.
From the angle of the picture, the black one looked larger, thank you for clarifying they're both Winnie's. They're so adorable!

There's controversy with dunking bags, LOL. I'm curious though, when you say painted, do you mean the reseller restored the original red color, or did they completely strip the color and redye it red? I haven't come across a bag that's been painted yet, although I have received a bag that was covered in shoe polish LOL 😅 🥴

Yes - both Winnie’s. I even convinced my sister she needed a black Winnie 😬.

The reseller restored the original red and it really doesn’t look that bad. I had no idea it was so taboo until I went down the Coach restoration rabbithole.

Speaking of Winnies, please everyone, keep a sharp lookout for a fake Winnie that was just removed from Ebay but may show up somewhere else unless the seller is honest. The listing was removed before we could get the seller's name. Serial number is invalid, D8J-9023. There's a blow-up of the gallery photo below and at the ATC thread. Please report it at ATC if you spot it. Thanks!

Hello, looking for some opinions (at your convenience). TIA

I was wondering if perhaps there was a typo on the 1992 Coach catalog, that shows the Charlotte satchel, and in the description says detachable and adjustable 45" strap.

I have one and the strap yes is detachable and 45" but not adjustable. There are not that many out there to compare, I found only one other that also has the same strap, not adjustable.

My green Glenwood Sheridan bag has an adjustable strap, see the link below, but I'm not familiar with the Charlotte, sorry!

Thank you for replying. I also had a Glenwood, Savanah, Richmond, and others along the years. they had the buckles for adjusting, but this one and the otherI found on line, they do not. Just wondering, because the strap definitely match and is the right length mentioned on the catalog. 🤷‍♀️
