It is discouraging. I started to sell a few bags years ago but gave up when a buyer sent back a perfect bag with damage and said I sent it damaged.
I have been selling about 2 years now, have only had one return (sent back in same condition). I have probably sold around 100ish bags, I attest it to only selling (so far) on Poshmark, plus I do try to source bags in at least good condition and check off all the being a good seller boxes. Shipping, presentation, etc. I consider myself lucky, but I really want to dip my toe into other platforms, but I am skeered for exactly the reason you stated.

I love the look of it, I have kind of had my eye on some, but I am afraid it maybe a little too vertical/north/south for my taste, but man what a gorgeous backpack.
Hi there. I recently purchased both the British tan and black in this handle backpack style. You are right about it being a tall bag, but it’s too pretty to pass up. I put a felt organizer in the bottom of it and I’ll be using it for the 1st time this week - I’m so excited! I’m still waiting on the black one to arrive, but I’ll post a pic of the British tan one here.

These days I sell mostly on Poshmark. It seems to be the most hassle free selling platform. I've had two returns. I didn't agree with either and was sad that Poshmark agreed with the buyers but at least I didn't have to foot the shipping costs and return shipping costs. On one of the returns, the buyer damaged the bag so I lost money, which made me very mad but I finally decided I can't give up Poshmark as a selling platform as it is still better than the others.

@curlygirl: What are your thoughts about the red one? I keep looking at it… 😬
In what way? If you are asking whether I would purchase it in red, the answer would be no. I have a red Coach bag from 2000 (#9135) and I find that I hardly ever use it. I prefer the colours that I have in Black, Mahogany and British Tan as they coordinate well with my wardrobe/shoes and I can add red as an accent piece (i.e., red scarves and I have a wallet/ Coach coin purse in red leather).

I agree with you - my only red bag is more of a display piece.
