Does anyone know what other style's strap might be compatible? I'm thinking: stewardess.
Helen's Legacy strap is long so you can use it crossbody.

If you go back and look carefully at catalog photos, it will probably answer the question for what style strap it was styled with/used. That’s why I love catalog photo’s. At least it lets us know what Coach intended.
That being said, I think it may also be possible that an authentic strap in either style was sold with the bag. As authentication goes, it gets murky when trying to be absolute with straps, hang tags as has been discussed.
I have a Ranch from the ‘89 to ‘92 production era. It is mahogany, but it definitely has reddish under tones. Definitely a different animal from my late ‘90s mahogany bags.
Got a bit of discussion a while back. Someone here named is mahogundy, or something like that!
