Thanks and you too! Busy! This and that … but I missed my hobby and friends here. Going to be catching up as I can. Picked up a few more bags and need to hit AT.
Anyone know what this style of bag might be? https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-purse-622e69e56f6c910da38725cd The flap seems to be too "squarish" to be a town bag... Also, it looks like the creed was double stamped. Anyone ever heard of that happening?

Double stamping happened sometimes. It could be an escort bag or a tailored pouch.

I just heard that young people refer to the 1980's 1990's as "the late 1900's." Makes me feel OLD! Wow. Should I advertise a vintage bag for sale as being from "the late 1900's?"

I wanted to post this thrift find. It is beautiful soft leather, nice brass hardware, really nicely made. It looks like a Coach Kit bag and measures 7 1/2" height, 5 1/2" width and 2 1/2" depth but creed is absent. I always wonder about these bags. Maybe a worker at the NYC factory stayed during lunch or after work to make for themselves or family or friend. I guess we will never know. ETA...I have also been using a large shopper which looks just like the 4082. Also, creed absent.

I saw a bag in the style of a Monterey Hobo in a thrift store and Legacy Zip at a flea market, also with the Creed absent. I always wondered if they were practice bags. I know someone here posted a Pony Express style bag, no Creed.
