Hi! I have two vintage Coach bags in purple. One is a sling bag and one is a side pack. Both have registration numbers, not plant / date codes. So, both of my purple bags are pre-1994. Purple is a color for the sling bag in 1993.

This is a great link to easily accessible catalogues: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wcK21b2R_plh3PyLXrTvWENYsOd6wMcu

If you can link to one of the bags you're talking about, and maybe post it in the authentication page, someone can help you out with more knowledge than I have.View attachment 5877728
Hi Roro,
Thank you so much for the information. I have a look at those catalogues and I think the purple I was thinking was actually called ink. I always thought of the colour ink as navy blue. But not in Vintage Coach land. Xxx

If you were to put an ink bag next to a purple bag, there’s a definite difference. But the ink color is very purple-like on its own.

The whole "spark joy" thing. I have some bags that I LOVE. Don't use much (or even yet), but love. And everytime I see them or think about them, I feel happy. I have a peacock blue pre-creed courier, and a silver sparkle sequin-crusted poppy giant ballroom disco-ball type thing, and I have this one which is hanging in my room next to me: Before rehab and after pic.

Wow! The rehab is amazing. It looks brand new in your pic. Awesome job.

Dear all,
I have never seen a vintage Coach bag in bone (partly because of my age and partly because of living in the UK) before.
I have purchased a pocket purse in bone white and it looks very very light beige to me. I am OK with the light beige colour but just want to confirm that bone is actually light beige for future reference?
Photo taken with my little white table for colour comparison. The bag has been authenticated by the experts on the other thread.

Many thanks in advance xxx

Hello! I'm trying to identify the color of this vintage city bag. Don't have it in hand yet so going by photos here. I think its "bone." ?? I've seen people selling similar with a variety of names: bone, cream, ivory, tan... Is it taupe? (Not sure what taupe looks like.) Thanks for anyone who has a thought/expertise!!
