Even stores are selling beat up filthy bags for top price. I've had shopkeepers tell me "customers like them like that. It's vintage. " Gross.

Omg agreed! It bothers me when people describe beat up bags as excellent/good vintage condition because a lot of people use “vintage”as an umbrella term to then not disclose weird odours, scratches & wear. If I wasn’t a rehabber, Id be pretty disappointed with some of my purchases lol. My Post Pouch was described as having “minor wear consistent with gentle use”… um, it looked like it was put through the wringer before I worked on it if you ask me!!

Nope! The black Casino is a forever bag haha. I sold some common styles in common colours, nothing rare or hard to replace. I finally have enough storage space for every bag which feels amazing!

I hate that "consistent with use" phrase. I try to describe exactly where the wear is and how much.

I love my casino! The perfect amount of super soft yet the structure is there. If I had a time machine I'd advise the powers that be to shorten that strap length!

EDIT.. Then again, if I had a time machine, I probably wouldn't use it to talk to Coach.

Yes! I once had a bag that smelled like basement but also combined with other unknown not-so-pleasant scents, and it had so much junk inside, like hair balls and trash. I had to hold my breath while I was washing it, and I’m not particularly sensitive to smells or anything, in general. I dunked...

^Note: if you don’t wanna use thread like me, you can just put the staple back in after making new holes. Also, just be super careful not to damage the leather finish on the “clip”

Just delivered! It had me perplexed but then it dawned on me that the piping, strap, zipper and hardware were most likely replaced by Coach in the ‘00’s. Will post pics with the dots on Saturday!!

Now in all fairness, if this was January 2017, 2018, lol …. It would be dunked with an app of either LT or CPR by now! I love the look, but I have a #9988 and it’s Berk buddy that I have come to know are not as user friendly as I’d like. I have too many rehabs and bags to consider a mercy rehab at the moment …
