Even stores are selling beat up filthy bags for top price. I've had shopkeepers tell me "customers like them like that. It's vintage. " Gross.
Omg agreed! It bothers me when people describe beat up bags as excellent/good vintage condition because a lot of people use “vintage”as an umbrella term to then not disclose weird odours, scratches & wear. If I wasn’t a rehabber, Id be pretty disappointed with some of my purchases lol. My Post Pouch was described as having “minor wear consistent with gentle use”… um, it looked like it was put through the wringer before I worked on it if you ask me!!
