I loved my shoulder sac but I let it go. The reason was I was too afraid I would ruin it. It was so perfect and it was red!
That was a gorgeous bag. I recall the pics.
Funny you mention that. I pulled out my tomato red Pocket Bag today to use. I realize I hold off using it because the leather still has that like new feel to it. It does have fading across the top and a few indents because it was wrapped too tight for shipping but is really otherwise fabulous. It gets used this week! I used my scarlet red Curtis bag since before Christmas and I enjoyed it. With the lined flap, the leather on the Curtis is a bit stiffer and not that super soft leather on a few of my other bags.

Very early I know but thought I would get people thinking now.

What are your Coach handbag goals for 2022.?

Mine...I havent bought from Ebay for a while as the prices for bags to rehab have risen too much for me to justify buying.

But there are some I would like to have.

Manor...on its way soon...in no hurry my friend as family is more important.

A Bleecker tattersall flap bag of some sort.

Would like a made in Italy bag at some stage...what style I dont know.

Dream to get a Bonnie Cashin...but I am dreaming about that one.

Pony...again...a dream...not realistic.

I have to financially be a bit more careful in 2022...and also will be re-evaluating my diet..*sigh*

Non Coach bags...

Gucci...just one..did have the style I wanted in mind but now I just dont know.

Prada...have a nylon bag I love but want a leather one of some style.

You all know that this list could change at any given search on enay.

Whats yours for 2022?

EDIT!

A blue (that sapphire blue not navy) Willis and a putty colored Hasp. There was a hasp but it went completely under my radar despite my searching daily. Many many congrats to @Roro for that amazing gem! A day has not gone by that I haven't thought about that bag and I really want to know how she turned out! I'm super happy that a tpfer got it though but, dang.. I grieve. ;)

Well, this brought me a chuckle at this obscenely early hour today. The bag is gorgeous. Just gorgeous. It prompted me to put up for sale three or four other small-ish bags that I will not carry now that I have this beauty. I have not had one spare minute to spend on rehabbing. I want to work on this bag when I am completely free from other distractions to consider what she needs and how to accomplish it. One thing I've learned as I've gotten older is my limitations in different areas. This bag seems to need very, very little but I will definitely post questions and photos as I go along. Thank you for the mention--it really made me smile as I recall this lovely little bag. I will definitely reach out if I see another for sale.

@Hoku44 This Willis I bought is as close to sapphire blue as I’ve ever seen in a Willis. Here it is pictured with my sapphire Chester. It is definitely a much brighter blue than navy.

I love that Willis! I've commented on that gorgeous contrast stitching and your collection is just so ridiculously drool worthy!

I thought I found a unicorn two weeks ago on Goodwill - the pictures had this Willis (made in Italy) that looked just like this royal/sapphire blue of a Fletcher I have. I love love love that blue (yet I don't like the bag, such a conundrum) the color is just like your Chester! The auction randomly disappeared.. Here's the link so you can see for yourself. I'm guessing the pics were overexposed because I researched to the Nth degree to see if a Willis came in that color but nothing came about. I think it was just overexposure but damn, that would be epic if it came in that color.

Roro, I am so happy to give someone a chuckle! I'm also very happy that my post was not taken in offense, I did worry about that! Do I sound bitter or antagonistic I wondered? I thoroughly enjoyed reading about how gorgeous she is! Thank you for sharing that! I will live vicariously through you when you are able to share the rehab journey. I love how small(ish), simple (with a hint of bling) and beautiful that bag is. Again, many congrats to you!

I love the look of the hasp bag but I've seen several where it looks like the metal is discolored and can't be polished back to looking nice. That scares me about getting one.

In 1997, Coach made a blue color with a purplish tint to it. Mine was NWT and the tag has what looks like BLU or BLV. I had thought it might stand for blue violet but it could be just blue. Those Goodwill photos look like the same bluish purple I have also made in 1997. Maybe they’ll re-list it, you never know!

I have just about every color Willis made and I researched like crazy to find colors by production year (catalogs, Wayback machine screenshots, etc.). I’m sure if one color has eluded me I will eventually find it. I’ve been surprised to see a new one every once in awhile but I’m starting to think there aren’t any colors I don’t have. Some of the more unusual colors were never documented and probably produced in limited quantities. I will not give up the search though!

I have not taken a complete photo of my blue Willis shades but here is my denim, pool, royal, and what I think is likely sapphire (BLV) Left to right. The royal blue has contrast white stitching and the sapphire has stitching that is just a little lighter than the bag. The best way to see colors is to look at the suede under the flap. I’ll have to do that in sunlight once winter is over.
