New reloved drop. I can’t believe those prices!

It's obscene enough that they expect someone to pay 4 or 5 times the original retail price of most of the vintage bags (even the recent styles are almost double the original prices) but they don't show photos of the details, or any photos of the creeds and serial numbers. Most of them use the new "Cxxxx" style numbers in the description so you don't always know what style you're actually buying or even if it's genuine. Pass.

And WTF is with the "ALMOST GONE" in every listing? If they only have one, which is probably the case for most of those, of course it's "almost gone". Do they think we can't figure that out? Is that supposed to make us panic and run to grab our credit cards? SHEEESH.

I’ve also noticed that over time the pictures of the bags have become smaller and taken from further away. Coach is taking worse pictures than some sellers on eBay:lol:

I did the obscene and bought the Patricia at their ridiculous asking price. It hurt, but I had been looking for one for a while. Hated not getting a real interior photo or closeup. I was worried it may be one of the re-issued ones.

So, the picture wasn't accurate for my order. The Patricia I got was the darker brown and not the one in the photo. It looks, smells, and feels new and I'm happy. I'm also not looking at the receipt that I stuffed into a deep dark drawer.

Yeah, I’ve realized that the picture they post to sell is more of a model, and you can’t be too sure of what you’re getting, which is probably why they don’t take very good detailed pictures. I’ve mentioned this before, but I feel that each bag should be photographed individually, even if it’s the same model, because with these vintage bags there’s so many tiny variations and it would be a shame to pay for so much and get a flaw that you’re not ok with. If you don’t mind me asking, what made you go for a Coach Reloved bag instead of maybe finding one on a reselling website? Not trying to shame your purchase, I’m glad you’re happy with your bag, just genuinely curious.

I hadn't realized just how representative the photos were. I had hoped they were at least the right shade of brown.

I agree, for the price especially, each piece should be photographed individually. They're not massed produced and each one has had a different past life that will leave different... we'll call them features.

I went re-loved because I've always wanted a Patricia and one actually showed up. The pre-loved ones I'd seen had only been in auctions. Many had leather that had worn thin or had damage I wasn't willing to live with.

I also haven't been looking for one lately. With work related fatigue + seeing one from Coach on Coach.com, my @*%&-it-all kicked in and I got it. Shame away. I can take it.

With all the close fakes we've seen here, there's NO bleedin' way I'd trust anyone at Coach, employee OR independent contractor, to be able to tell real from fake 100 percent of the time. Unless someone from there is anonymously authenticating them here, sooner or later someone's going to get stuck with a turd and probably won't even realize it because after all, they bought it directly from Coach so it MUST be genuine, right? RIGHT? :confused1:

That's understandable. It can be really annoying sifting through those sites trying to notice all the ways some sellers are trying to scam you, or comparing bags to see which one is less flawed. I think buying a bag from Coach Reloved can be a safer and less time consuming option, it's just unfortunate how they've marked up these bags, especially when we know they've acquired the bags for much less.

Look I know I give a lot of tish about Coach’s reloved promo but that is for Coach, not for anyone here. What people buy here, what people spend here and who they buy it from is none of my business. No one shames me for my WYRTB cheap a$$ purchases and I will gladly extend that courtesy in return. Lord knows I have had my screw-it-all days and bid or hit the BIN.
And I can ask you, did they alter the Creed or month year style # ??

I'm just glad to have the bag I wanted but couldn't get way back in the day. :amuse:

The Creed wasn't altered as much as its barely readable. Here's a couple of pictures my husband took when it got delivered

And here's what I thought I was buying

Next time you’re looking for something in particular, just ask here. I’d be happy to discount it to 50% off their asking price. Lol!
No, seriously, I have found a couple of bags from fellow TPFers help.
