Personally I wouldn't buy one unless it was a rare color or I had the opportunity to feel it in person. Some of these felt and looked terrible. Right around this time, I remember seeing some at the outlet and was shocked at how poor the quality was. I don't know if it was from this batch.

Finally! My very first Bonnie cashin Chunky! MANY thanks to my purse fairy @rkiz I finally have one of these bags that I saw in an article.

I have never run into one of these and thought they were all already in possession of other collectors and I'll never have one. I bought it but the way things are going these days I didn't get my hopes up too much till it shipped. I kept fearing the seller will cancel my order. Well it made it! It's now my mine!

Chunky sits like a toad. I find it amusing. She has 4 feet but they can't keep her from touching the surface. The color is a bit softer orange than the tangerine Soho flap. Inside is lined with her signature multicolor striped fabric.

The metal frame touches the leather on the sides of the bag and leaves marks and tarnish residues. :sad:

I love it! I wish you could clone one for me! Was it outrageously expensive? Are you going to carry it or just display it?

No it was a pretty good deal for $200! I was trying to resist pretty hard but once I told DH all about it excitedly he said go ahead! :panic: He's such an awesome DH! :girlsigh::love:
I will carry her just a few times occasionally but carefully of course. She's been neglected for long time! The inside lining is clean but she was dirty outside!
