It looks great! You can fit the buckle prong through the holes on the strap? I thought this was the strap that needed the eyelets switched out.

Only if you want to use with the big buckles of Helen's Legacy, lula's legacy, large couriers then they need to be switched. I haven't tried with the RL but I think the buckles squished the strap leather.

I have a fake Legacy small flap and geometric. They weren't cheap. By the time I realized they were fake, it was too late. They are why I became an authenticator.
I was aware of bad fakes, but I was also aware of the good fakes back in the late 90’s as I have shared. That is why when I found the Forum and the AT thread I felt like I had hit the jackpot. And have attempted to educate myself as much as possible. Especially from the misinformation out there.

Yeah it does somewhat squish the leather part of the strap. No matter, the varsity strap makes the bags crossbodies, which is how I like to wear them.

Thank you to the lovely Authenticators here! You guys are gems ;)

I'm feeling bummed- got my pretty Stewardess in the mail only to find a small tear in the leather and two areas of piping that have been repaired. It's well done but it's at stress points and I don't want a purse with this damage. Worried the seller will say it's fine and argue with me :(

Repair like that should be disclosed in the listing.

Where did you buy it? If they weren't disclosed you should return. I usually don't have problem with PM when this happens. No matter what the seller argues I don't reply and just wait for Poshmark support and they have always sided with me.. (except for a fake bag long time ago.)

I keep a fake Court from a local thrift shop ($5) around as a reminder!
Live and learn. That’s why after this fake Willis, I asked for more photos from sellers. Doesn’t matter if they take long to reply back. I mean if I miss out on an auction, it’s really not the end of the world. if any, my wallet will be happier!

lol! In my heyday of US thrift stores, I thought I scored an Anderson. I had it authenticated here and, darn I forget who authenticated it for me either whateve, BeenBurned or Hyacinth. I was so cheeky and said something to the effect...yeah! scored again!!! D'oh, the reply was....it's a fake! lmao!!! I still have it, I don't wish to put in back in circulation. Yes, a reminder!

I do the same thing with a fake Willis, it was the first fake ever found with an always-fake 0974-534 serial number, and I had the honor(!) of adding the number to the original Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list at least 10 years ago at Ebay. GO ME!

And it also disproves one statement in the Coach Screed, that "no vintage fakes were ever made of full-grain leather", because this one definitely is. The pores are obvious even with just a 10x loupe.
