I noticed that as well. I can never find cheap bags using the normal word searches. Nowadays, you have to stumble across a typo listing or someone who has no idea what they have to grab something cheap! Its also why I hate auctions. I feel like Im competing against way too many people and I don’t wanna overpay just to be the winner as the competitive drive comes out in those final auction moments lol
I have waaaay overpaid for bags on auction because of the competition. Lol.

lol I either face disappointment because I didn’t bid enough or I face disappointment because I overpaid! With an auction- you gotta really want it or just happen upon a listing no one cares about and win it by being the only bid! There never seems to be an in between in my experience!

I'm curious to see whether this works for you! It never worked for me. I shop thrift stores and find too many good deals to leave behind just because I don't "need" them. So I buy to flip.

The thing about living in Canada is, I have never in my life come across vintage coach in a thrift store the way I see people in the US do. When the demand goes up (which it now has), my cheap ebay bag supply goes with it! Its like a bag ban Im forced into lol!

Guys! I got a suspender bag (I think style #9490)! And it’s orange/rust! I’m afraid to wash it! I didn’t think I would have this reaction, but I really love it! So many exclamation marks! It has the precreed stamped cartouche, does this mean it’s from the late 70s or early 80s?

Wow, cousin to my rust Saddle, with a hangtag. Totally jelly! That is the time frame I am understanding.
I washed mine cause it really needed the deep deep conditioning and reshaping. Yours looks great

I think it must be regional even within the states, I'm in Washington and don't find them out my way either. I'm always jealous of everyone's awesome thrift finds!

Where I live there just isn't much to be found in my thrift stores. Unless I want to drive all over town, which I'm not. Maybe when I'm retired. But while I'm working, my gosh there's no vintage coach on the planet that I'd drive all over town to try and find that I could not buy online. I've been popping in the neighborhood Goodwill maybe once a week for probably 5 months and only this past weekend did I see an all leather vintage coach. It was scratched all up, dry as a bone, had a broken zipper and no hangtag and they had it priced at $21. I mean seriously?? That should have been $7, IMHO.

There was a woman here who doesn’t post anymore that I believe is in the mid west and it was insane the way she found crazy good bags at local GW and maybe a GW Boutique for crazy prices.
I feel like my once in a lifetime crazy good find was my flea market BT Winnie. I have picked up a few interesting cheap bags, but no show stoppers for the most part at my local thrift stores. There are a few flea market vendors with relatively cheap but beat mahogany and black bags. Have to keep it in mind for hardware. But I am holding off on flea markets till the fall, at the earliest, so I don’t know if they are out selling.
But I will say, I am loving  my rust Saddle. Worth every penny. Glad I was willing to go a Ben Franklin. That was the next highest bidder’s cut off.

Ive noticed Florida is also a hot spot for vintage coach. Makes sense, lots of old retirees live there. I can imagine when they pass, they might have a vintage coach bag or 2 (or an entire collection) that gets donated with their belongings or found at the estate sale their next of kin organized. When I visit the US, Im making it my mission to hit every thrift store possible just to take a look at the bag section Lol

I never find vintage Coach for less than $40 at my local stores! I’m in Northeast IN. I don’t get to go thrifting much (I have littles at home, plus work full time!), so maybe I could find them if I was able to get to stores in the mornings during the week. I saw a picture of a green Court on the local St. Vincent thrift, but it was gone by the time I made it over there.

It is definitely regional. I hardly ever find anything in most parts of California, although Sacramento seems to be an exception. About a year ago, we went on a thrifting trip to Idaho and Washington. Idaho was horrible. Washington was okay but not great. Oregon is much better.
