I accidentally bid on a mahogany pocket purse and didnt even know about it until I won the auction! I just got a notification asking me to “pay now”. I checked the listing and it was one that I had viewed a couple times but decided not to go for it because mahogany just wasn’t a colour I liked. I guess I accidentally hit the bid without even realizing it. Im not gonna cancel now because I don’t want the seller to leave me bad feedback. Im surprised no one outbid me. I won it at $20 and its in pretty new condition from what I could see in the pictures. Lesson learned though- always verify you don’t have active bids going that you aren’t aware of lol

Sellers can't leave bad feedback but I'm glad you are going through with it. It sucks to be a seller and have people cancel on you.

Oh I didn’t know that! yea I wouldn’t like it if someone canceled a purchase on my either so its only fair that I follow through. I figured the best case is I end up loving it and the worse case is I don’t and just re-sell it! Im gonna be more careful though, I don’t wanna be on the hook for an expensive purchase in the future haha

Missed out on the Logan by a $1...I was trying to do an extra bid but I was at work and got too busy so missed out.
But saved me some money anyway.
And I learnt a thing or two about auctions and now hate them even more. Still like BIN or offers.
That's a bummer. I've lost auctions by .25 cents before. I hate them. So much. Flames. Flames, on the side of my face. Sorry, favorite movie quote. Hopefully there will be another one before you know it with a BIN option.

Remember the bag I got for $10 on ebay? The bag was as described except it had that terrible thrift store smell. I washed it and gave it numerous vinegar rinses plus sprayed it with everything I have that is supposed to remove odors. Now it just has a faint thrift store smell. I'm torn as to what kind of feedback I should leave the seller. I would give positive but I don't know if I should mention that the smell should have been disclosed.

Can I ask what bag it was that you got? I wanted to ask when you brought it up the first time but I forgot to!

Auctions used to easier. Bid early and bid your max and you usually won. Now people snipe and you can up your bid very quickly on the fly.

Reminds me of the casino bag I lost because someone outbid me last second... still just a little bit salty about that one getting away haha. I hope you find another Logan at a good BIN price :)
