You can always make more money to pay off that credit card but not even Coach can make more vintage purple Station bags. It was a worthy purchase! Thanks. I am excited to see it. Less so to see my credit card bill this month.

This is infallible logic! You can always make more money to pay off that credit card but not even Coach can make more vintage purple Station bags. It was a worthy purchase!
Yes it is! It's also the reason why I have So. Many. Bags. This is infallible logic!
If you don’t work in sales, you may have missed your callingYou can always make more money to pay off that credit card but not even Coach can make more vintage purple Station bags. It was a worthy purchase!
Honestly, I can't predict who is going to cause problems. Often the buyers who don't make a fuss blindside me with a bogus return request, like the guy who claimed the Coach wallet was fake because it was made in China. He didn't ask any questions ahead of time. The listing stated it was made in China. He just opened the return request not as described and didn't respond to my answer about authenticity so I had to accept the return.
Mine wasn't on Posh. I should have specified. It was ebay where buyers are always right. I don't have the patience to sell on Posh plus they take too much in commission.I think its different for US Posh because on a poshmark thread that I frequently visit, the US sellers are always talking about bogus return cases. It makes sense that its more common in the US because your population dwarfs us Canadians and poshmark has been around longer in the US. As for advice I can give you: never accept a return! Always fight it! Make sure your pictures are clear and show all tags (such as the made in china one that you stated you showed) and then make sure you add measurements and as much detail as you can about the item. Also never directly address the buyer in a return case, only address poshmark. For example “The item is exactly as described. My listing states the wallet was made in China and Coach has manufactured products in China for many years. This item cannot be proven to be inauthentic based on the location it was made. Also, the buyer opened a case under “not as described”. I believe my authentic item was described accurately as evidenced by my pictures and description. Poshmark please deny the case.” Ive never had a case but thats how all the posh people on the thread say to handle cases- state facts and only address poshmark. Then just wait for posh to approve or deny the case! Hope that helps at all! It sucks that theres problematic buyers! Im always a little nervous waiting for someone to accept their item for fear of a case being opened

I don't think its weird and I have done that before. I have said something like, 'I see you have had this item for a little while and it has not moved, would you be open to offers' and sometimes I even go so far as to include my offer so the message would go on to say 'would you be willing to consider an offer of $XX dollars.' I am not a seller so I don't know how this is perceived other than it has worked a few times. They will have to alter the listing so that it contains the offer button or sometimes they send me an offer to get the option opened up for negotiating. I feel like they can always say no, and sometimes I add into the message, ''I figure it cannot hurt to ask.' But I am always very friendly and cordial. Or they can get offended and block me, I dont really care.Would it be weird to ask a seller if they’d accept at offer on an auction item if they’ve relisted the item like 3 times cause no one ever bids on it?
I had a buyer purchase one of my bags and then send me a message that she would buy another one at $xxx price if I changed the listing from an auction to BIN. So I did, I was happy to. The worst the seller can say is no. I think it's worth a shot.Would it be weird to ask a seller if they’d accept at offer on an auction item if they’ve relisted the item like 3 times cause no one ever bids on it?

That sucks! I think the global shipping program is the default. You have to check a box if you don't want to do it. I don't know why she wouldn't do it. It seems pretty risk free for the seller. I've never had a problem with it but I've never had a complaint. I don't know what would happen if the buyer claimed SNAD. I wouldn't want to be on the hook for refunding all those extra shipping fees.Wow this seller is something else. She sent me a counteroffer that I agreed to and then she informs me that she doesn’t ship to Canada but her listing is with the Global shipping program? Its literally telling me the shipping and duties? I don’t understand how you can unknowingly join the global shipping program, that makes no sense?. I just told her she ships to the ebay warehouse in KY and they ship it to me but I don’t think shes gonna understand that concept and looks like Im not getting the bag... Ive had such a frustrating day and this just added to it lol

There is risk for seller if buyer want to return for refund. In U.S seller only need to supply a return shipping label, but return shipping for international include Canada is much more expensive(for seller). I request full return once, the leather at strap end was riped half way across. For the benefit of doubt seller might not aware of it, the leather overlap was lifted at corner, didn't look too bad, but upon close inspection, the leather beneath the lifted overlap was riped quite bad. I immediately requested return and sent seller the picture. Of cause I lefted the top leather ends more to show the damage covered by the top. It made the strap looked worse but I didn't do any further damage, just exposed it. Seller agreed full refund but insisted the bag wasn't like that when she shipped it.That sucks!
