No way!!! I better move Germany to the top of my list then! ;) unfortunately the west coast has all the beautiful national parks you’re probably thinking of! Im in Ontario which is pretty flat and boring unless you go up north! My dream would be to move to California one day, I can’t stand our brutal Canadian winters haha
I lived in Ontario for 3 years. The great lakes are beautiful.

My house is waterfront so I have a lake view at all times. It also makes it so that our neighborhood is cooler in the summers and warmer in the winters due to the lake creating a micro climate. I never get sick of looking out my window and seeing the water! Its lovely

You are so lucky! It is like on a vacation everyday.

I feel you! I think I was born in the wrong country. While German winters are usually not as brutal, they are grey, wet and windy and I hate every minute of it. For months it's just this bland washed-out dreary feel with chills that creep into your bones and only go away with a hot bath. I'm a summer child with all my heart and live for blazing sun and extreme heat. My region of yearning is the Middle East and if I could, I'd happily move to Tel Aviv, Ramallah or Amman.

My bf is a Spaniard and also despises German winters, maybe we'll just move to Andalusia one day and live sweatily ever after.

Hi everyone! So, I have been watching this bag for a while since valve54 posted it (thanks!).

I finally bought it, and just received it. The bag is is pretty good shape, but I failed to notice in the sellers pictures that the inside lining is detached on the sides and bottom. Of course, it wasn't mentioned in the description, but I see it in the pictures now.

Is this a common thing with these Ranch bags? For example, there's a rehabbed green Ranch on ebay right now, where the seller mentions that "the suede piece that lines the sides and bottom are detached on one side".

I'm a bit on the fence about what to do. I also wonder if I paid too much, even considering that Ranch bags are hard to find?

I do like the bag though. I bought this as a Stewardess substitute since the Stewardess is so expensive, and isn't technically a Crossbody.

I'm an amateur at rehabbing (I've done about 15), so I feel like working around this lining, or trying to fix it is out of my depth. Since it's detached on both sides and bottom, I don't know if I could resist the urge to just rip it out, since it looks kind of like hanging skin to me (LOL, sorry for the visual).

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I've lived in the Middle East and I've lived in Arizona. Both have similar climates but I feel that in the Middle East they have adapted their lifestyle to the climate. In Arizona, they act like they do in the rest of the US, trying to do regular business activities during the day. In the Middle East, everyone goes home to rest in the middle of the day when it is super hot. It's probably different now that there is more air conditioning.

Where we live now in the US, we have super hot summers and mild winters, but it is still too cold for me sometimes. DH hates the heat. He grew up in the place with the most perfect climate in the world, San Diego.

Mine is still attached. I would glue it back in place if I could. I don't think it would be that bad to rip it out either. It isn't covering anything except the center bottom seam. I guess it makes it a little stronger, allowing that seam to bear more weight without giving.
