Ha ha ha!! I ordered you to buy it. Really. Do you regret it?

I love the color! I like the skinny bags for going to the movies or for quick lunch dates where I just need my wallet and maybe a wristlet. My Station bags are my movie/lunch bags. I can see that not having a back pocket takes off a few points, I feel that way too about so many vintage bags. I really like bags that have back pockets even though I can't quite say what I use it for. Receipts? Tickets? Still nice to have though. Almost a HG is still pretty nice!
Back pockets are sometimes used for my phone if I feel it won’t stretch the pocket and a variety of other things I find I want to shove in a back pocket when I don’t have one

I had one that I bought new, around 1986 or so. I think it was Tabac. I loved loved loved the look of it, but its narrowness just didn’t work, and the buckle drove me crazy. I ended up donating it to the thrift store. I hope it works for you. I think it’s a beautiful bag.
I think the narrowness makes her very comfortable to carry, but I wish she could hold a regular water bottle. I can totally see how the buckle could drive someone crazy, but I hope this includes pickpockets! I carried her yesterday and didn't find it annoying, but developed a fear of straining the little belt strap with constant buckling-unbuckling. Need to take extra good conditioning care of that.

What are the requirements for your perfect bag?
Turnlock closure on rounded flap or full straight flap (halfway straight flaps often tend to look a little crooked), back slip pocket, inside zipper pocket and slip pocket under flap, buckle-mounted straps, not to big and not too small (though I adore my Dinky and wear her all the time). I don't mind other forms of strap attachment, but my least favorite is a permanently attached strap with square D-rings.
I have many that come very close to being perfect, but there's always something. If the Rambler's Legacy had a rounded flap or the Saddlery had a back slip pocket or the Manor had buckle-mounted straps or... But then I'd probably get the bag with perfect specs and be done, and where's the fun in that?
Also, I just excluded all zip-top bags and that's just unfair. I love my Chester for example.

Is pocket picking common in Germany?Where I live hardly ever heard of pocket picking cases but people do get robbed.

Seems Chelsea would be another near perfect bag. Except non removable D Ring attached strap. Size is similiar to Saddlery but shorter & a little deeper.

I can’t speak to Germany, but the first time I went to Europe I got endless warnings about pickpockets in Spain and Italy. I was rather terrified. In the US they are just going to purse snatch your whole bag and run. So you would think I would be terrified here too...

I visited Italy, France, and England in the mid 90's and there were pick pockets in Italy and France back then. Our guides warned us about the common tactics, i.e they'll send over a child pretending to cry or to ask you to buy their penny candy. They'll randomly bump into you to get you discombobulated, they'll drop something directly in front of you....all kinds of things. Luckily nothing like that happened to me, however I did have a camera stolen off of the bus the company had rented for our group. But anyway, I am sure there are much the same kinds of things going on today.

I lived in Germany for three years 1999-2002 and I don't recall there being a big pick pocket problem but I do remember being on guard in France when I went to Paris on a trip.

Not more or less common than in other parts of Europe I would say. In crowded places or during a packed commute it's fairly common. It has never happened to me though, that's just a fear that my mom and grandma instilled into me. My grandma even loops the seat belt through her bag straps while driving so nobody can snatch and run, even though this M.O. is completely unheard of in Germany.
Robberies are scary, and thankfully very rare here.
