Yeah, I figured that once a buyer has chosen direct shipping, there are only 2 options for me: ship or cancel the sale.
I just want to deter buyers from chosing direct shipping by making it clear in my listing. Saves me the trouble of cancelling the sale.
I just wondered if VC will allow any mention of it in the item description, or will they just edit it out? But knowing VC, it's probably gonna be the latter.
I see some people put it in their bio but probably most of the buyers do not read it… I also suggested to Vestiaire to make the option available of choosing if allowing direct shipping or not, item by item…

For the past few months I have been selling old Coach and Michael Kors bags (I've only been getting $15 - 30 per bag, but I don't really care as I just want them gone) and I have to say the whole experience has been great. The app is super easy to use, they keep me updated every step of the way and I just find their process really seamless. I just listed my first bigger ticket item (a Balenciaga Hip bag) so we shall see how that goes. If that goes well I may go ahead and list a YSL bag that I'd like to sell. Overall I am very impressed by them!

Advice please. I signed up with Vestiaire yesterday. I wish I had read the terrible reviews of this company, before I added my SS number and checking account. I tried to delete my checking account info, but it won't let me. I want to delete my account. Does anyone know if you SS and bank information is deleted too? I don't trust this company after reading all of the terrible reviews.

So no one is going to respond? Thanks

Guessing there are no responses because no one knows whether information is deleted when account is closed. It seems you will need to contact them the best you can to cancel your account and try to get information about deleting your information.

I’ve only had luck with the chat function. Never get responses from emails.

Yes you should talk with their help desk, there is a chat option in the website. I add that I don't agree with the bad reviews, I use Vestiaire for buying and selling since many years and my experience with them is very good, the few times I had issues they solved it correctly, like the carrier has lost an item that I sold and VC paid me the item in full, or I received an item that according to me was not in the conditions that the seller indicated and they checked it and took it back and reimbursed me. So far, great experience.

No experience with them and never created an account, but here's what I was able to find.

My current experience and I honestly highly do not recommend vestiaire!

I bought a $1500 Lady Dior handbag and had it authenticated by them. My box arrived stuffed with papers and heavier cardboard, the handbag was nowhere to be found. I immediately took it up with vestiaire. He sent me to hell because I didn't claim the package with the courier when it was delivered. Which was impossible because the packaging on top was not damaged and the box was not light due to the cardboard.

As a result, I have no purse and no money.

Sorry to hear! Was it overseas shipping?

Wow! That will say it disappeared at their HQ in Paris or rather on the way? I've been buying a lot of stuff from them and never had in mind to check my parcel in front of the already stressed out carrier. What are you doing about it? How did you pay?

The purse probably disappeared somewhere along the way. I called DPD and was told that there was still a problem with the parcel in Paris. Which I subsequently reported to the vestiaire, but they still didn't deal with it...
I paid with a debit card, so I can't get the money. I think I'm writing this at the same time because I'm hoping someone might be able to advise.
I've also bought many things at nih, but nowhere this expensive a handbag and that's the one I lost :).

Have you tried to contact your bank to see any possibility of getting money back?

Thank you! I did delete my account. I will see if they will delete my bank and SS number.
