Vestiaire Collective experiences?

I had very good experiences with them but when I went through the concierge service it went wrong.
They once returned my damaged chanel bag to me, sold my items at very low prices and the last one, my new Rolex Datejust 36 watch, never worn, came back to me damaged and used. They recognize that it came back to me damaged and carried use by their employees. They also fired the person in charge of my articles. They offer me 200€ to have the watch polished. I am in justice with them.
In my opinion, it is no acceptable 200 euro to adjust for damages on a new never used Rolex, the value from close or above retail dropped to 1/5 or even lower.
 
I made an order 4 days ago, and the seller was never very responsive. It takes hours to a whole day for her to reply to a simple question (even before I decided to purchase it) and she told me she was going to ship it yesterday but absolutely zero communication since then. I asked for an update and she hasn't read the message. Usually I get pretty good communication with the sellers, but I'm worried after 7 days my purchase will get cancelled... I really want this item as I've been looking for it for years.
If your orders gets cancelled because it wasn’t shipped out on time you can rebuy it after Vestiaire processes your refund.

Yeah that's true, however I'm a new member as I've never bought from them before so I got a good deal with a new customer voucher. However, if she decides she doesn't want to sell it, I won't be able to buy it at all. She'll also have to re-list it again, it won't come back on sale automatically, so she might not do that... If she ignores my messages I'm not sure I'd have faith in her to ship it the second time around too...

The welcome voucher might work again if the order doesn’t go through and Vestiaire sends out a discount code when orders get canceled worth $15 dollars. She might just be busy.

I have zeko authentication on m'y bag for thé buyer but no luck.
I don't have a History on selling on vestiaire Collective

I did have a few offer but very low when i look on re-sale market.


Sometimes 3000 euros so for that Price i prefer to keep it.

Si if i want to sell it what a good Price for a chanel jumbo black caviar from 2011 in pristine condition,with only thé box ,the dustbag and zeko authentification ?

In Europe do you recommand other website ?

Note that you can obtain a duplicate of your invoice from Chanel. The Chanel invoice reassures customers. You have also vinted, hoping have helped.
 
Was just notified my bag originating in France has been held up in Customs (New Jersey). FedEx sent a DocuSign yesterday to obtain my EIN/SSN. Completed that yesterday, package still shows as sitting in NJ. Vestiaire emailed me today telling me to contact Customs to provide the number. Is this typical??? First time with Vestiaire, seller very responsive and all fine until now.

Trying not to panic about 4K bag sitting at Customs. :( Anyone experienced this?

This happens to me all of the time with international purchases. Vestiaire used to use DHL which was a little smoother, but nothing out of the ordinary from what you've described, so unfortunately just an inconvenience for you.

Hope I’m not interrupting any conversation threads, I just wanted to thank very kind fellow PF friends..

Recently nearly completed transaction for an Hermes crocodile bag through Vestiaire but so many horror stories..I have a very sick cat as well..I could not face the stress of it going wrong tbh..I’m watching a couple of expensive rings..1 I did offer on but was ignored, the other the seller is being very pushy with, but I’ve since bought myself another ring on lay-by,

I pulled out of the Hermes bag which is still for sale..the seller keeps dropping the price, I did feel bad at the time as I don’t like letting people down..but I couldn’t face it going wrong..

Now that Tammy is deteriorating I’m glad I didn’t add any stress , so thank you to the friends who convinced me to drop out..xxxxxxx

Does anyone know why VC return policy for items not purchased from professional sellers is so strict?
I am interested in an Hermes bag but at over 5K I am not going to chance having to resell it on their platform as my only option

Why not charge a restocking fee if they want to disincentivize haphazard ordering / returning?
