Here is a snap of the malachite (B35 in togo) and vert vertigo (Evelyne in clemence and Jige in evercolor) from my family photo. This picture is fairly accurate in terms of color I would say.

Thank you for sharing! The lighting makes a huge difference...lit up Malachite has a beautiful color, but may be too dark for me otherwise like in your family pic (still beautiful)...VV may have that brighter pop. But in your close up Malachite looks to die for! These kind of thoughts add to my hand up haha. Thank you again!

If you want a bright fun green that goes with everything that is Vertigo! I love malachite to death, but it is a jewel tone and more subtle. The answer is clearly both!

My malachite 35B (I don't know why my photos turn sideways when I post them here):

I think that malachite works better for me than a brighter, more grass green. H makes the best greens.

Haha no worries about the sideways!

 See this is so beautiful, but looks similar to me as the Novillo in Vert Vertigo posted before...that's why I'm confused which one I should try to hunt down

Hi all!

This is my very first post, I hope everyone and their families are doing well!

I am on the hunt for a green kelly and am debating between Vert Vertigo and Malachite. I am getting very confused as in some pictures Vert Vertigo looks perfect to me, but then sometimes it looks a bit too green has less blue in it than I think I would like.

Someone posted the below picture and the center bag is supposes to be Vert Vertigo...the color looks perfect.

This one as well is advertised as Vert Vertigo and is the shade I would really love

But then here Vert Vertigo looks a lot greener and less of what I'm looking for in a green

Malachite is very beautiful but I am wondering if it would be a tad too dark.
Could owners of Vert Vertigo and Malachite please share their pictures? I know Hermes colors are such chameleons but I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me...I'm hoping people who own these bags could help let me know which color most looks like the shade of green I'm looking for. You’re probably more confused than ever now. Online photos do a better job representing Malachite IMO. Good luck.

Thank you so much for any feedback! View attachment 4706634 View attachment 4706635 View attachment 4706642
I have a Togo Malachite Birkin and a Vert Vertigo Ostrich Birkin. They are totally different greens. Malachite is a blue green color while VV is Emerald green. VV is hard to photograph because iPhones and point and shoots somehow add in a blue tone to VV but it is really dark Emerald, no blue, no yellow. Just grass green. Both are neutrals interestingly. VV is a pop neutral while Malachite is quiet though. My Malachite is a 35 and my ostrich is a 30. To me, Malachite looks better with Palladium hardware because of its cool bluish tone while the dramatic VV looks better with gold. Now you’re probably more confused than ever. Both are beautiful but online photos seem to represent Malachite much more accurately IMO. VV is also one of those colors that is radically different in sunlight than other lighting.
