From memory it seemed a lot bigger than the magic size - like it’s purposefully large and set at the bottom as the style so that one Alhambra is the largest piece on the necklace. I couldn’t say for absolute certain though and do not want to be incorrect!

I got a couple of things but was there to order the Ludo
Which Ludo did you get? Inquiring minds want to know!
I'm so excited for you! Congratulations on your new bracelet! Photos please if you wish.

You may have said before, but I would love to hear which stones you chose for your Ludo!
I am going to do the turquoise and Lapis, the same as etoupebirkin. It is difficult to deny how gorgeous hers looks in real life. I had been going back on forth on the piece for a while but I had never seen one in "person" (meaning not a picture on the VCA website). Sometimes I love something online and then see it in person and it doesn't live up to the hype in my head. Her posts sealed the deal to push me over the Ludo edge. I thank her for finally allowing me to see a real photo on a real wrist but my wallet does not thank her! ;) but The white gold and diamond is beautiful as well - seems sort of Art Deco to me which is my favorite era of jewelry from before - but I do not do a ton of white gold (mostly yellow) so I am afraid it won't get a lot of wear, plus it reads dressier to me, and it lacks the pop of color that I always desire in jewelry. I didn't consider the ruby and rose gold version because it reads too "pink" to me.

We will see how long it takes. The immediate gratification girl in me would love for it to be sooner rather than later!

@BigAkoya I will post pics when I receive!

Great choice!
And... for what it's worth, I am a white metal lover so it's only platinum or white gold for me.
I tried on the white gold and onyx version, and it did not look great. There is too much white metal, and it looked too much like a silver link bracelet to me. Your (and @etoupebirkin ) choice is the best! (Agree with you on the ruby... too pink).

The turquoise and lapis is a gorgeous choice. The bold and bright stones will stand out in the metalwork. My favorite jewlery era is Art Deco as well, with a little early Retro 30s/40s mixed in, so as you can imagine, the Ludo is just divine in my eyes. I think that even if you do not wear it as often, it will bring you so much pleasure to have it in your collection to admire whenever you want to! Very happy for you.

@BigAkoya and @LenaDuree

Thank you for validating my choice. I think I will get it back in my hot lil hands by early next week. I will then (gulp) pay the credit card bill.

I have this idiosyncrasy that in order to wear something out, it must be paid in full.
That’s a great way to be though - can’t fault you for that. Free and clear, purchase done - no stress, just enjoy! That’s the MO of the DH so it has become my MO as well by default! I hope it comes back soon!!

I think you have to SO the RG version. YG and WG are stock items.

Her bracelet links look funny. Never seen the round links (see zoom in below), but I am sure it’s legit. I am no expert authenticator.

Regardless of her photo and the WG MOP, that is a standard item. I have two WG MOP bracelets and wear them together to create more presence. I like it a lot.

They definitely look funny because they aren’t authentic. It’s amazing how these so called luxury influencers are wearing bad fakes

Yes definitely bad fake VCA would never modify a bracelet like that.
I have no idea if these are real or not, but I will say just for general information purposes that VCA does do different looking things for people depending on their needs. For example, my mom has very bad arthritis in her hands and she has them modify all of her clasps and rings to make them bigger so that her hands can handle fastening her pieces. Possibly if people saw them and never needed to do that sort of alteration they might think they were fake. Again, no idea if these are fake, but just info for info sake.

View attachment 5704511Finally joined the VCA world!:yahoo: If I could please gain some wisdom/advice from everyone: I have to get some of the links removed. My wrist measures to be about 13.5 (LOVE: size 16, JUC: size 15). I’m planning to layer my five motif with the LOVE and/or JUC from time to time. How short did you/should I shorten my bracelet? Thank you so muchies :hbeat::heart:
I would take out 8 links (16) as they count “one link” as 2 individual loops. My wrist is 14 and I wear the same sizes in Cartier and this is how I resize my VCA. Hope this helps!

Understanding that VCA will definitely make accommodations in certain cases as long as it doesn’t interfere with the integrity of the piece. These however are clearly fakes imo. There are only 3 links between the huge rings when all the links are removed in sets of two.
