As my wise husband always says... Strike while the iron is hot! I do think this opportunity will never come again.
Two turquoise butterflies on the ears will be so awesome! You will glow turquoise!
I would think VCA will sell you one turquoise earring. If not, get another earring set (good bang for the buck!) Worst case... you could buy another pendant and ask VCA to convert it to earrings for you. I assume the earrings and pendant are the exact same butterflies.
That is a wise idea! I wish I had to funds to get the earrings =DLots of YG turquoise butterfly lovers here...
As a thought... if it were me getting the earrings, I would ask to order another single turquoise. I could then wear two turquoise earrings at the same time and glow turquoise! My ears would be popping!
If you think you might like that look, I would do it before this collection is sold out. If they won't allow purchase of just a single turquoise earring, then maybe get two sets of earrings. Then you can wear two turquoises and two diamond paves as well. It's like getting three sets of earrings for the price of two!
1) One of each on the ears
2) All turquoise
3) All diamond

this is what happened to me! I was contemplating the white gold pave pink sapphire set and I went to try this on and I loved it! So I got the ring. I didn’t get to try the earrings so I’m on the waitlist for the earrings now

Would love to get this groups thoughts. I was offered the ring, earrings and pendant from the two butterfly turquoise collection.
I’m pretty sure I don’t want the pendant.
But the earrings, the earrings are haunting me. Here is my dilemma, I cannot go into the boutique to try them on so purchase is over the phone so can’t get a good assessment on the color and stone.
Secondly, I have always wanted to add the lapis butterfly earrings and two butterfly ring to my collection and that’s what I’ve had my eye on forever.
But….the more I look at these turquoise earrings, the more I drool….should I get turquoise earrings now and wait to add lapis OR just stick to my initial thought which was to just add lapis only in this collection?
For those who have had a chance to see the turquoise in person, I would love your thoughts especially!!

Turquoise is stunning. I haven’t seen it irl but get what you absolutely love and have planned for! Don’t let thoughts like ‘because it’s rare’, ‘because others have it so should I get one too?’ kind of thoughts waylay you from your original plans. If lapis is what has been tugging at your heartstrings, then that’s what you should get. Sometimes it’s easy to get into the trap of ‘the new and the exciting’. I know I did when I got the HP 2021 and then I immediately realized pink is not for me and I returned the pendant the next day. Thank god that I did. I always remind myself that just because there are so many beautiful things in this world, it doesn’t mean I need to buy it all.

Hi! The stones are completely different to me.
Lapis is year round and a more classic & elegant look. Turquoise to me is fun & summer. I have Tiffany turquoise pieces, and I only wear them in the summer. That's fine with me as I do have "seasonal" jewelry that I only wear certain times of the year.
Think about how you plan to wear the turquoise earrings, what outfits would you wear, and what jewelry.
For me, unless you really love love love the butterfly collection and have always wished for a turquoise butterfly, I would skip.
I personally feel you now want them partially due to the hype, but that's just a gut feel.
For me, I would focus on the lapis earrings the BTF ring. That would be a fabulous set you can wear year round, dressy or casual.

Since you already have the WG pave butterfly pendant, I see you do wear short pendants and this is not an impulse buy (e.g. I do not wear short pendants, so buying a short pendant for me would be an impulse buy). I also see you like butterflies, so again, not an impulse thought.

You bring up an interesting point that I had not thought of which is the seasonality of lapis vs turquoise.
I actually am not certain I want them because of the hype. I have never been one to fall into that. I absolutely love the two butterfly collection and was determined to add the blue lapis but just a bit confused now that turquoise was released. I’m not one that personally feels I need 2 sets of these earrings either. So, if I settle on turquoise, I will walk away from getting the blue lapis and vice versa.
