The current butterfly turquoise pieces were offered to select clientele based off direction from Paris is what I was told. They are all spoken for. I’m told some pieces might come along for purchase at later date.Hi everyone! I am contemplating about adding the turquoise butterfly to my collection. Since it’s my birth stone and also am loving the vintage feel of the blue and gold.
However, I am not very familiar with the stone. Is it hard to take care of? Is it susceptible to water?
Also, how do we choose a turquoise stone if we had options?
I am also wondering how limited these pieces will be. If my SA were to offer, how long do I have to think over it? sorry for the many questions! TIA

I think they are beautiful! I was offered the earrings and I am far from a VIP client. That said, if you can get something and love it, grab it asap! But they will be around a while.Hi everyone! missie, thanks for the reply! You are right, when I inquire my SA about the new release today, he told me I will have to order and put in a deposit since the first batch is all sold. Also that the manager has to be approved for my order. The current butterfly turquoise pieces were offered to select clientele based off direction from Paris is what I was told. In terms of colour it really depends on your preference. The turquoise from VCA will definitely be even in colour so you will only need to choose your preferred shade. Some people like it lighter, some prefer it more saturated. Read from somewhere that sky blue is more preferable in the trade than greenish blue but I guess that’s just personal preference again.
From what my SA told me even though it is not limited edition it won’t be easily found in boutiques as they anticipate production to be scarce.
hope this helps!
thank you shannily! Good to know that sky blue is more preferred as I do prefer a sky blue as well. In terms of scarcity, I didn’t know it’s hard to source turquoise. I was thought it’s quite readily available.

As long as you do not get things like hairspray, lotion, or perfume on it and do not let it get wet, it should be easy to take care of! Pendants get the less wear and tear than rings or bracelets, so it should stay in nice condition if you put it on last after getting ready and then take off when you get home. I have turquoise perlee earrings and that is how I care for mine!Hi everyone! I am contemplating about adding the turquoise butterfly to my collection. Lots of YG turquoise butterfly lovers here...
As a thought... if it were me getting the earrings, I would ask to order another single turquoise. I could then wear two turquoise earrings at the same time and glow turquoise! My ears would be popping!![]()
If you think you might like that look, I would do it before this collection is sold out. If they won't allow purchase of just a single turquoise earring, then maybe get two sets of earrings. Then you can wear two turquoises and two diamond paves as well. It's like getting three sets of earrings for the price of two!
1) One of each on the ears
2) All turquoise
3) All diamond
Yes! Get two turquoise butterfly earrings!Just playing aroundwas thinking maybe I won't love her that much....but alas....heading into the boutique for earrings soon. Colours are so much more vibrant irl but I am not good at capturing it
