Will you be getting anything from this collection Nicole?

I wish the turquoise could be a tad darker.. just a tad....
I will not be, though they are lovely. All of my turquoise are from the Alhambra line, and if I were to add butterflies it would be in a different stone. I also prefer the richer turquoise hue, since jewel tones look better on me.

I’m one of the clashes and my wallet is not unhappy about that!:giggle:

I’ve got very warm skin, eyes, hair - brown with lots of yellow and green. If I don’t get enough sunlight I look downright sallow. Turquoise looks wonderful on my MIL, who has pink skin with a lot of orange (she’s naturally very tan but she’s got pink undertones)… But it just turns me greener and sallower :-s

Fortunately for me (or not, as the case may be) there are lots of other stones that do flatter my colouring

This is very interesting to hear! I thought I was alone in looking AWFUL in turquoise. I thought it was supposed to ”suit” everyone, but it definitely doesn’t work for me. So an easy pass here as well.

That's an easy answer for me. For me, Frivole for sure. It is classic, blingy, and gorgeous.
The butterfly necklace alone does not make a statement. The model has to wear three pieces to even make a subtle statement. It's definitely not blingy. Cover her earrings and ring, and the little turquoise butterfly necklace fades into nothing, at least to me. The pendant worn alone to me is on the edge of childish. Plus, the little turquoise butterfly pendant has limited use. It's a summer piece, a fun piece. The Frivole is year round, all occasion, dressy or casual piece.

Ask yourself... why do you all of a sudden want the turquoise butterfly? Was any butterfly necklace ever on your list? If not, why now? Or do you want it now because of the hype of turquoise?

Did that help? Are you over the butterfly?

For me, I would choose Frivole over the butterfly, not even a question for me.
The key for you is why you even want the butterfly and how do you intend to wear it a one pendant. Hope that helps.

This is an excellent assessment @BigAkoya! It is so esay to get caught up in the hype and the “have to have because its limited” mentality. I am no stranger to it (i.e., the Frivole pink sapphire release that I absolutely HAD to have). Luckily this one is a pass for me once I really think about it. I don’t like turquoise - it looks downright bad on me. I don’t particularly care for the butterfly line. So why would I even be tempted by this except the “need to have” mentality.

I love that shade of turquoise on your Rose de Noel! It's the perfect medium light blue to me! Gorgeous!
Thank you dear! I won't be wearing both at the same time but I do have another vintage alhambra turquoise pendant I might layer with the butterflies and see how we go. The rose de Noel is good alone

Pics from my lovely SA, I was offered one despite I don’t have a big collection and definitely not their VIP. I’m tempted to get an item to fill the hole in my butterfly collection. But given the current pandemic situation we were basically grounded at home and I don’t want to travel all the way just to shop for these frivolous things in this time. When it’s getting better I might go out to take a look if it’s still available :D

for the butterfly collection, originally I was thinking to get the between finger ring, but I’m not sure if I can “age well” with it, or just a pendent would seem to be more timeless, and get the frivole between finger ring. I want to collect a between finger ring/ turquoise item/ butterfly item from them to “complete” my collection XD
