Hello! Does anyone know how often VCA has price increases, in a year? It is only typically once a year? As the price increase just happened here in the US, can I take my time now deciding on what next to purchase? Or would they have another price increase later this year?

the last price increase before this one in May was in 2022 October for Alhambra pieces (someone correct me if im wrong). It's not consistent because before covid, they increased their prices every few years. And sometimes the price increases are for different lines. They also sometimes have price decreases for a piece or two (but this is more for diamond pieces).

I bought impulsively the Perlee diamond clover for $28,000 a in Mai. I wish I bought your pave 5 motifs instead. Not only it was slightly less expensive its also more durable and sizable!! The perlee only increase by $800 not to $2600 like you bracelet.

That’s one of the reasons I bought the chrysoprase-onyx Bouton D’Or pendant recently. It went down about $6K because the line is being discontinued. I believe people didn’t buy it because Alhambra and Perlee are more recognizable and far less expensive. I also believe the Bouton D’Or line was both gold intensive and laborious to make — so with gold prices increasing dramatically— VCA decided it was no longer profitable to keep the line.

Yes, there was. I’m not sure about the exact Swiss prices, but you can go back a page or two on this thread to get an idea of the percentage price increase for some items. In general, the five motif bracelet went up the most.

Thank you! The Tiger Eye was always a bit more expensive than Onyx or MOP (at least in Switzerland) but unsure if it specifically also went up and by how much.

They all went up, each category by a little different percentage, but the same percentage within the same category. Yes, tigers eye was always more expensive than onyx and mother of pearl, quite significantly.

I quoted a few post in this thread that mentions Switzerland specifically or the bracelet increase specifically.

It can still be less expensive here of you get the tax free. But the stock isn’t very good depends what you are looking for

On May 4th, I ordered the 5 motif yellow gold guilloché bracelet with my SA in-store. There was a 2-3 month wait on the bracelet. Since I ordered before the price increase, does anyone know if I will have to pay the price difference when it arrives?

I suppose VCA raised the price of the 5 motif bracelet since it is one of the most popular items.

I still can’t believe that my SA reassured me that there wouldn’t be a price increase for the alhambra line. I’m glad that I picked up my tiger eye pendant, even though it only went up 100usd, I would have still been annoyed.

I ordered mine 16th and prepaid in full. I picked up my order 2 weeks ago and did not have to pay the difference.
