Why don’t you just prepay in full on Thursday to lock in the price? What difference does it make if you know that the price will go up next week in the US, hence, if there’s something you want to buy, just buy it now or pay more in a couple of weeks…
You misunderstood what I said. I have an appt Thursday at which I am purchasing items. I was saying that hopefully they are not going to already be charging the increased price bc the increase has been announced (which is a problem that others have had in the past), even though the official increase date is Friday. My SA just confirmed she’ll lock price for me.

NB: prepaying does not absolutely guarantee locked price, it depends on various factors, so, if you are hoping for this outcome definitely ask you SA if that’s what will actually occur when the item arrives.

Hi . I ordered something, sometime this month and was told it's all sold out in the US but I'll locked In with the price if paid in full, so I paid in full. Today, I asked SA again to double-check and he said it's locked in even if it arrives after price increase. If it doesn't lock in the price, there is no point in paying in full , you know?

It appears different boutiques play by different rules. My “home” boutique was willing to lock in the price on earrings ordered with prepayment, but another boutique I visit from time to time was not willing to lock in the price on the same earrings.

If VCA increases prices worldwide it will make me question the link to US tariffs. However, if the US price increase is greater than that in other countries I could see where some of the increase is in response to tariffs. And if some of the increase is due to tariffs it will be interesting to see whether prices come back down if/when a deal between the US and the EU is concluded.

I will echo what @citykitty24 has said. My SA said the increase will be about 10% for jewelry. I take that to mean it will vary by the piece. The increase for High Jewelry will be “up to 47%”.
Interesting...my SA quoted me roughly 4% increase on the Alhambra pieces that I inquired him about, not sure about the % for other pieces from different collection though, didn't ask. 47% sounds like robbery
