does anyone know about valextra’s after sales care? I need to fix the clasp on my Valextra Isis/Iside.
You better email them, they do offer after sales care, but depends on what needs to be fixed.

I asked about changing a front clasp due to scratching on my old Iside and they said they may be able to do it, but I need to email them photos of the bag, so they check with their artisans

Been using my Triennale, love the capacity! It fits all of my usual essentials, but also fits my coffee tumbler, while the other day I had a book and an umbrella instead.

The smooth leather is prone to scratching, but I like the feel and touch of it, don’t mind the bag aging with me 😄 Compared to Hermes and other more easily recognizable luxury bag designs, I really love how under the radar it is (also given the Triennale is discontinued)

I wonder, does the Valextra Outlet in Milan accept orders from abroad? Has anyone tried that before? Can we call or WhatsApp or do they have a direct email?
No, you can only buy in person at their outlet store in Milan, bare in mind that if an item goes to their outlet it either has some slight imperfections (which you need to be aware of when purchasing) or it’s discontinued… occasionally I’ve seen some Valextra styles/colors go on sale on LuisaViaRoma or other retailers, yet most of the items are sold full priced. If you’re planning a trip to Italy, I’d recommend stopping by at both their flagship to see some exclusive styles and their outlet store to see some discontinued ones… I love that Valextra is classic and minimal, I think even in 10 years or more their styles will always look chic and beautiful….

I’d just seen they’ve released a new Iside backpack variation, unfortunately, the SA was busy with other client and I didn’t have time to wait to be assisted, so didn’t check out the interior of the backpack, but wow, really love how elegant it looks for a backpack, would love to come back to get a proper look and try it on

Ah I see. Interested in the exclusive ones as well! Especially since there aren't as many choices in the locations near me. Good idea to add both the flagship and the outlet to the itinerary of the next trip to Italy!

Regarding the backpack, I like how the opening cover/flap looks structured, yet there is a 'scrunched' look for its body.

Agree with you about being classic and minimal. Sleek, with clean edges, without loud logos. My little sister said the Valextras can suit not only elegant and mature kind of classic style, but also the youthful kind. For context, I'm also interested in Delvaux, but my little sister said she personally won't feel comfortable carrying a Delvaux because, to her, they exude too much 'mature rich lady' vibes which she doesn't find suitable for her personality/style.

Meet the latest addition to my Valextra family - Flute bag, a limited edition version of their Serie S, I picked up at their outlet, there’re minor flaws like a few minor scratches here and there, given it’s in a smooth leather that just means I can be more carefree when carrying it 😃

This great YouTube review is one of the reasons I decided to add this bag to my collection 😄

If interested, I can share some comparisons pics of my collection, I have 2 mini Iside, one Brera in micro and one in medium, a medium Triennale and a mini Flute, different leathers (their signature Millepunte leather, smooth glossy and smooth non-glossy calfskin, exotic leather python)

As you can probably tell, I have a soft spot for top-handle bags with a shoulder strap 😃

While in Milan, I also stopped by their flagship store, lots of pastel neutrals this season. I loved their latest addition to Iside family, a “baguette” version of Iside, for now they’ve released it in just 2 colors, black and white. I tried to look for it on their website and haven’t found it there, but LuisaViaRoma already has it. I think the price point in great (compared to Fendi baguette in leather in medium size), I hope they release more colors, so I might add one to my collection in the future 🙂

Oooh shoulder bag version of the Iside makes so much sense! Thanks for sharing! You have an awesome collection 😊

If I’d have to pick one handbag from all Valextra’s styles, it would be mini Iside in Millepunte leather - the size is perfect to easily go from day to night, the leather is scratch-resistant and shows no wear or tear, the trapezoid shape of Iside with its signature clasp is one of the most elegant bags, and the proportions of their mini size are the best. I have the same bag in smooth shiny calfskin, which was my first Valextra bag I ever bought

The other handbag in Millepunte leather is micro Brera, which I adore, if you’re looking for a mini bag that can fit your essentials. Despite micro size it still fits a decent amount of essentials thanks to its unique shape, where the front size is a bit narrower than the back. I think it’s a great alternative to mini Kelly (I have seen reviews of people complaining you can’t fit your phone or other essentials inside it), well, micro Brera might look tiny, but it can hold a lot! It easily fits my phone or a powerbank, a pair of sunglasses, a mini beauty pouch, a cardholder and a mini flat wallet I use for change.

Now let’s compare micro Brera to Flute: you can see from the side by side shots that Flute is much more spacious compared to micro Brera. I’d still carry the same amount of essentials I mentioned before, but Flute also has a front pocket at the back and an inner pocket that can easily fit a cardholder (an inner pocket of micro Brera can only fit a card or two, but definitely not a cardholder). Flute is the only style that doesn’t have a detachable shoulder strap, the shoulder strap is the part of the design, but there’re magnets on the strap, so you can keep it beautifully folded on one side or the other.

Compared to mini Iside, Flute is much smaller, yet capacity-wise I fit the same amount of the essentials inside each
