UPS delivered an EMPTY box!

Thank you all for the tips! I contacted UPS, and they have started a claim. Next stop is my CC/PayPal.

Don't jump the gun and open too many claims though, as far as I know you can only have one claim open at a time, so while you can contact them, you should really keep in mind to not open another one too soon, but also to not let the PP window (I think 180 days) slip if LV are dragging their feet, and by informing your CC you can voice your concerns and get info on the time frame you have without opening a claim just yet

It was a big box, and the bottom is easy to take apart since it's just glue. Someone could've easily opened the bottom, take out the LV box, put it back in and re-glue it. The top is perforated, and that's where you strip it off to open the box. Either that happened or LV forgot to put the item in the box or something else happened lol
That’s what I mean - they’d have to be driving around with glue & a plan right? Or maybe they all have glue? I don’t know... I guess I don’t have a criminal mind lol.

you know it just occurred to me how many hubs the package goes through... duh... I’m not with it tonight.

Btw totally OT, is that a brown and tan Dobie with the natural ears in you profile? We lost our doofus aka Alfie a few years back due to a spinal tumor (we had to let him go as anything else would have made him suffer longer and surgery in the best case would have left him paralysed, for a dog as active and playful as him, it would have been hell), while I miss every dog and cat I ever had (even the pet rats) Alfiedoos and his big snorts and him trying to make off with the xmas roast and us having to do the heimlich maneuver as he was choking on a massive piece of beef, will always remember that...

Thank you! I'll wait to hear back in a few days from the claim I have open.

She’s about 84% Rottie, 6% Dobie, and the rest Australian shepherd & maybe collie. We did a DNA test. She’s such a sweet mutt :heart::heart:. I love her to pieces. I’m so sorry you lost your Alfie :hugs:

We adopted the Alfiedoods as a Dobie, the vet put "Pincher" in there, if he was a Dobie he was the 3rd ever Dobie in history who had lion's jaw, which I think made him look like a distinguished Edwardian gent, due to the condition the original owners got rid of him (those .... wanted a 'pretty dog' they did not deserve one) I always had the suspicion he was part Labrador due to his appetite, and like all big dogs, he thought he was a lapdog....

While parting with each and every one of them always gutted me, I know we gave them a good life (always rescues) and did the best we could for them, the current resident one is also known as the Hermes, Prada and Burberry monster, though he grew out of eating bags and shoes, and like all Dobes, a faithful cat slave who is totally bullied by the feline Overlord, they will literally grovel and do anything to be allowed to sniff a cat bottom

Awwwww he’s so handsome. Great photo! How could anyone abandon him? He was meant to be with you till the end . One of my good friends adopts Dobies from a rescue. Wonderful beautiful dogs.

Shipping boxes...too.easy to get in from the bottom...I am wondering...does LV know how their shipping boxes look like? They use to have custom.made shipping boxes, why are they using this cheap stuff?
I've only had a few items shipped to house last year and the box did not look like this one. It was those sturdy ones that are glued shut with the perforated pull opening. Did your item come intacted? I just purchased an item to ship to house, has the shipping boxes actually changed to the above?

Yes this is what my box looked like! I'd post a picture of my box, but I don't want to until this situation is resolved. I wish their boxes were more secure. I've shipped to home multiple times, and some boxes don't have this bottom so it was more secure. The inconsistency of their shiping boxes is annoying.

All my previous boxes have been the sturdy ones, and my item was always there. This time I ordered it came in the box pictured above, and was stolen. This packaging makes it so easy to steal from.

Update: got refunded after 7 days, wasn't told what happened or if they found out what happened, and was told no mini pochette in DE (the item I ordered) is available at all *shakes head* now I'm going to have to stalk it again, and pay for the price increase
