Yknow what though? I am pissed that I do know what to look for! I wish I didn't have the experience I have to know this. It sucks to know stuff like this. It sucks to be knowledgeable, especially from repeatedly crappy experiences.

I really thought a company like this would treat their customers better and with more respect. I also thought a company of this prestige and brand name power would also sell nothing less than perfection, especially since their customers are paying a premium for the Vatche name. You better get a brand new e-ring that is in PRISTINE condition AND a free RHR as compensation for having to deal with all this crap!

I read that also. Very disrespectful. It could have been a coincidence that they were posting on the same day as his proposal but they could have easily taken it down for a few days when he made them aware of his plans.

Ame, this has been such a long process, frustrating for you. I hope a beautiful, flawless ring is in your near future.

You'd think they would want something perfect to come from their shop but clearly they just want to be rid of it and want me to settle for "eh it's good enough". No, not good enough.

I just want a refund. I don't think they're capable of anything perfect coming from there, and I am sick of worrying about what they may do to my diamond with all this nonsense. I no longer trust their craftsmanship to be worthwhile, and getting my ring or another ring, or anything free, that's not comforting in this instance.

I hope so too.

But in regards to the other gossip--I have worked with that company before and I would say that their disrespect is not at all a shock to me. I actually laugh at the positive reviews about them because I know it's all BS.

I will likely have my local guy just cad a similar version of it with my specific changes to it. As in higher head, thinner band, etc. I like a few things he has in his case but none of the ones I like come in a 6 prong option. I would think we have plenty of reason for a refund, they just don't seem to want to budge on their no refunds ever policy. Despite it being THEIR problem. We also considered pulling my stone out and shipping the setting back empty though I would think that's only in regard to them giving us a refund.
