LOL I edited their names out to protect the guilty and innocent.

I don't expect him to send that whole thing. I just want him to make sure they know I want my stuff back now.

Is there any way you can contact the President or CEO of Vatche??

I'd put in a call to them & tear a strip off them. I'd demand my ring back and asked them what THEY are prepared to do to make this up to me.

You deserve some sort of compensation......I wouldn't let them off scott free.

Oh geez. I'm so sorry ame, I really hope they get it to you tomorrow. Had you signed any kind of contract with them, telling them the ring had to be finished and back to you by a certain date or time? Maybe that would allow some kind of recourse if they've defaulted on that..

No, not really. But they swore up and down IN email to the Jeweler 7-10 days.

Forget Jeweller Dude........it's Vatche that needs a good kick in the head.

None of this is acceptable.
From what I gathered when I was trying to find a more local vendor, they don't deal with consumers. They wouldn't answer me where to even BUY it. I had to call around.

Ok....so Vatche doesn't deal w/ consumers, only jewellers?? But Vatche DOES set the ring themselves, yes?

I would suggest to call the Customer Service # and ask for the TOP Manager....

That's so annoying. The makers of my ring were the same way. I called them to try and find out if their setting does or does not have milgraining, so I could find out if my jeweler was lying to me or not. They wouldn't even talk to me. Wouldn't even tell me that insignificant piece of information. They said my jeweler would have to call them. I said my jeweler was in question so that would be pointless.

Thats exactly what I got. We cannot speak to people outside of the trade.

So.....pretend you're IN the trade.

And I would write a letter to the company too......& make certain they understand that you will go public with this on every major jewellery forum

Yea I am considering how I'll handle that. I don't really want to reinstate for that. I might have someone post in my place. I dunno what to do but it does HAVE to get out.

Something definitely does not sound right to me that Vatche told your jeweler it was in the mail with a 7-10 arrival.......once it was determined that there was an issue with the ring and you (& your jeweler) decided it was time for the ring to be shipped back - why in the world was that ring not overnighted or even shipped with a 2nd-day delivery. I'm sorry and haven't read the entire thread so I'm probably missing something.......this all sounds very, very frustrating. Hope it all works out to your liking SOON.

They kept telling us it was ready and shipping, and when we'd not received it we'd call them again and we were told "oh something's not right, it's shipping tomorrow". Repeatedly.

Im done though. The jeweler was trying to go to bat for me, but they clearly either way underestimated or they messed up and didn't want to admit it. Either way they drastically missed the deadline.

I don't really want it, I just want my stone back now.
