Hopefully it will be the smallest of price increases after what happened in May. That price increase was late so it’s a bit soon to do another price increase tbh (in my opinion, lol)

I'm probably after CF in black, SHW either lambskin or caviar (do they make it in any other leathers in black?) and the boy, also in black, calfskin, RHW (it’s on the website now). I’d order over the telephone Or online but I think I need to go in really and have a good look at them , make sure they are ok, nice and puffy nothing wrong with them etc and get the full Chanel in store experience which is also part of the excitement of buying the bag(s).
I doubt there’ll be further increases on the classics after May. It will be coco handle and trendy that will be hit this time around I expect.
In the classic it’s either lambskin or caviar. Look at size too as the medium is too small for my needs now and that was my first. You’ll know when you try on a few. Go for what makes your heart sing. Enjoy the experience and perhaps go for lunch or coffee and cake after to celebrate! Let us know what you end up with

I hope you are right . Thank you for your help. when I do finally get there I’ll make sure I do a reveal.

Hello this is my first post!

Has anyone recently seen any mini flaps in the Manchester branch? It will be my first purchase and I’m actually quite nervous to go in. I’m worried if I get made to feel I shouldn’t be there or if I do something wrong then I will be put off luxury handbags for life. (Pretty Woman flashbacks right there!)

I’ve been planning my first Chanel purchase for a while now.

Can we book appointments?

Has anyone found a nice preloved boutique in Manchester?

Stay safe everyone.

I haven't been to the Manchester store since COVID-19 hit but this is my closest boutique and I have only seen mini flaps on rare occasions and as soon as they come in there is already a long wait list for them with the SAs!

You do need to book an appointment to ensure you are seen because of the COVID-19 restrictions. 9/10 times I have been dealt with very friendly SAs in the Manchester store, there will always be one in every boutique but please do not let it stop you! If you email them on their email address with your mobile number, one of the SA's will contact you to help in what they have in and this helps build your relationship with them to

There is a pre-loved boutique in the Royal Exchange, it's called Designer Exchange and they have stores in London etc and I have seen quite a few 'influencers' shopping in these stores for pre-loved items!

Thank you! I will do that. I think it will be nice to get to speak with my SA a little before I go in. Like you said it’s good to get a relationship with them so they know what I am looking for. Ooo the designer exchange sounds exciting!

You don’t need to book an appointment to go into the Manchester boutique. You just have to queue and wait. If you go early there’s usually no need to queue.

If you go in they will confirm what they have and can be very attentive owing to limited numbers in boutique at any one time.

I think they do but you have to do it via Selfridges. I am pretty sure @XCCX bought a burgundy boy bag from Selfridges on one of the other threads recently she mentioned...
Yes and it was one of the best transactions. I will definitely do it again.
I learned later that Selfridges ship to select destinations only (US unfortunately excluded) but I believe @star_dust is based in Europe (?) so should have no issues :)

Thank you! She did give me the contact but I was wondering if that is the case for Manchester too.
I just read this. I once wanted a piece that was available in Manchester, my Selfridges London SA said she’s not sure they do ship but they can transfer items. I didn’t proceed though as the item wasn’t what I wanted.

I just bought an item from Manchester (I travelled there to make the purchase). The SA advised they do mail order so in future I can call the store to place an order rather than having to make the trip.
