she is on vacation until 3/3 and not taking new clients. FP has a 14 day return policy. Know any other good authenticators?
FP’s authentication is pretty reliable and I would actually trust FP over any other non-bbbb service. If your having these doubts, I would just return it while you can because you’ll never feel not uneasy about it, imo.

Have you had a good experience buying Hermes from FP? The bag looks legit except for the engraving on the bottom of the clasp it seems in the wrong place for the year of the bag

To clarify ( perhaps not applicable for your situation) she is on vacation through 3/3 and cannot accept new clients "during this time".
The implication being she will accept a new client when she returns.

Hello I’ll be in Paris on April, I’d like to get recommendations on your trusted resale stores within the city. More on brand new and gently used items (I’m not exactly into vintage items). There’s a thread about this but the recommendations was a bit outdated and some of it are closed already.

Thank you in advance❤️

Hello everyone! Do you know this european reseller site? They have beautiful bags and they sell on Vestiaire Collective too

I'd like to buy a Kelly for my 30th birthday so I'm looking for it online! I was thinking about Redeluxe but her prices are reeally high!

Thank you so much both for your insights! 🌺 I'm just getting into Hermès (fully knowing that it's a place of no return), and I have no idea what repairs might cost. The bag is now listed for 9100 EUR, the seller would get 7917 EUR due to commission. I messaged her:

"Hello! I’m interested in this bag 😊 I will ask Hermès what the restoration of the corners will cost, and I will get back to you with an offer if that is OK with you 😊 Would it be possible to see the bag in person before buying?"

She replied: Good morning, Yes of course. I'm getting it back today it was being renovated for the corners and feeding the leather. I did it by an independent craftsman because the delay was much too long at Hermès.

SOOO, I was so chocked and disappointed; I've heard that after a procedure somewhere else, Hermès will never touch the bag again. So basically, buying the bag after the repairs would mean never having the possibility to use the official spa 😣

I think I'll ask for pictures after the third-party repair and try to get it crazy cheap.
This is a very high price for the state of this bag, and I would not buy a bag that I know had had third-party repairs.

At that price I believe you can find a better bag than this one.

Crazy cheap can’t be anywhere near 9000, it should be 6000 and under I believe depending on size, and look much better than it looks now, as if no one had touched it.

Take a look at auctions - you see that bags that have been worked on by others go for much less. Look at the heritage auctions website, look at past luxury accessories sales for the prices. Some were sold very cheap because of third-party repairs.

I think you can get one around that price used from dandan Wang. I haven’t bought from this reseller, but I see he/she has many bags around that price that look better than that. This person is in Canada.

I bought bags at good prices from Facebook group - hermes buy/sell/trade by Marco clo, but you need to do a lot of diligence there (only buying from seller with stellar reviews in the group, asking for updated references etc.)

Thank you again all 🧡 As someone who is just getting into Hermes, it's super valuable to hear a ballpark of what repairs might cost and what would be a reasonable price, IF someone would want to live with that bag 😅 I'm stepping away from it. That dark green is just such a nice color, I believe it would go with many outfits. However; if there would be a B30 of the same good condition and price, in that green and Etoupe; I'd go with Etoupe. But Etoupes in 30 (GHW), with a budget, are impossible to find 🤯

For me, being a European (Finland) everything that is shipped from outside of EU will cost me.....*drumroll* first +3% customs fees on top of the price, and then on top of that sum +25.5% in VAT 😒 So I'm drooling over all deals overseas, stuck with what is available in Europe 😆 Of course, if something is a very good deal overseas, I could consider paying all those extras.

I'm glad to hear you've stepped away, you'd regret it if you bought it and certainly for that price. 😳

Your bag will come, it will. These bags are tough and stand up to wear really well as long as you take care not to abuse them, the bag in question has probably been carried without any care for a corner to become so damaged or something happened to it. So it's possible other parts of the bag too are not satisfactory and there could be flaws you can't see or know about.

Keep looking and don't settle, your bag is out there.
