I posted on another thread about a recent TRR purchase listed as a “No visible signs of wear” maxi Twilly w/ box, that arrived as a questionable authenticity Maxi-Twilly Cut reeking of smoke, with a broken, fake scarf box, not a Maxi-Twilly box. They refunded my purchase price and shipping but it was a hassle. I doubt I will buy from TRR again. I have never felt like I got a good deal selling either. My items were all carelessly described and under-priced. After two tries at both, I think I’m over them.
I was over them for while but gave them another chance last week and purchased 2 scarves…..
One arrived wadded up in the orange box….it just seems more work to wad up a scarf than to actually fold it properly.
The second arrived with 3 stains although it was listed as Pristine……yep PRISTINE.

PriSTAIN.... That is no fun though, hate when I get something described as excellent condition and it's a hot mess.

Conversely, the Maxi I received from FP arrived exactly as described. It was my first order with them, so I’m bummed to hear that people have had difficulty. One thing I liked about FP vs. TRR is the quality of the photos and the clear photographs of stamps and tags. Seeing that, for me, gives me good information about authenticity. And quite frankly, makes me trust FP’s commitment to transparency so buyers know exactly what they are getting. That TRR doesn’t photograph stamps, tags, or allow a close-up of hardware, makes me wonder how serious they are about protecting buyers from fakes. What is the point of having buyers get the piece home before seeing this key information? If they post good photos and a piece doesn’t sell, that would be a good indication that their description and/or authentication folks need to take another look at it.

Hi H scarf lovers, had any of you purchased from IG account hermes_overdose who is a H scarves reseller based in Finland?https://instagram.com/hermes_overdose?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

She has a pre-owned scarf I’m interested in but obviously I’m nervous about authenticity. I know there are 3rd party authenticator but I don’t want to use one after I make the purchase first so want to see if any of you has bought from this reseller. TIA!

Yes, I bought a bag (Mini Kelly 20) from Klueles in January 2022. It turned out to be a fake, so I returned it to them  The problem was that I had to wait almost 3 months to get my money back. Can not recommend them at all!!
Maybe the clue is in the company name...
They hope their customers will be CLUELESS and not get things authenticated

Hi ladies,

Long story short, I was going through a very stressful time and made an impulse bag buy in Paris over Christmas and got home and had slight remorse. I still never used it. It's a rainbow Sunset Bolide. I just quit my job to take time off and get myself back together and now am thinking it might be a good idea to sell it. I actually do love the bag but it's not the most practical.

Questions:

-Where would be the best place to "resell" something that is actually brand new? Commissions, trustworthiness, etc. (New York would be great)
-Do you think something like this, -that isn't a Birkin or Kelly and won't appeal to just anyone- will go up in value, hold, or decrease?

Thank you so much.

Try Julia Rose Boston. Or Ann's Fabulous Finds.

Anyone know a trusted reseller in Indonesia?

I'm not considering the resale market for now, but I'd love to know for future references.
I read in another thread that you visit SG quite a bit. It might be helpful to search this thread for some recommendations for SG. Some even have physical stores where you can see the bags in person. Good luck!

Thank you for the reply! I actually already know quite a lot of reputable resellers in SG (a lot of it is from lurking in tpf), and I've visited some of the stores as well.

SG resellers have so far been wonderful, but I was just curious if anyone knows of trusted resellers in my home country as well
