Hi Hi im new here and recently found a new love for Hermes. Bought one B25 from a reseller on instagram (finklepuff) and a C18 from a singapore reselling app (which comes with full set and receipt, i assumed is all authentic).

but recently i chanced upon a new reseller on IG. Her prices are way cheaper, but with exentisive research, usually cannot be so cheap. It's much higher than those knock off, and the way its being sold are like a normal authenticate IG reseller.

So i jsut want to ask if any of you chance upon this profile HMChoroe? I wanted to get a K25 from her, but is so afraid i get cheated due to the FANTASTIC prices shes offering. yet her brand new full set are of the mkt rates, but when there's no receipt the discount is HUGE.

I have no feedback on the sellers mentioned but I would like to mention that receipt can be faked and it doesn’t signify authenticity. Please be careful and all the best in your search!

the issue is the one that im looking at is supposed to be preloved mint condition. So no receipt at all.. THE price so attractive but i dont want to waste 15k usd on a fake bag. but truth be told im so tempted to get it. I contacted bababebi to check on the price for authenticating. then if i can get more photos, maybe i'll pay for the authentication before i make the purchase.

basically they are selling a close to new Kelly25 Gold on gold at $15.5K usd.Stamp z 2021.

their BRAND Newbags are at $33k USD? which makes sense. so called the brand new in box with receipt and all. A normal mkt rate. but this preloved (WHICH im sooo tempted to get) is giving me 2nd thoughts. So i asked about refunds and authentication. What if i purchased send to my local area for authentication and its a fake whatdo they do about it? They replied,(1) send me a replacement, (2)give me store credits that nvr expire or (3) do a full refund which will take ages.

Oh mine, im glad i did more research i couldnt find anything about this reseller. so i managed to google something and MFASHCo came out but the account has been removed and i saw something like HMChoreo said something. I guess they might be the same reseller.
So glad i didnt fall for it.

beware my fellow hermes lovers.

Hello, has anyone purchased from anna_violette.room on instagram? They seem to have a few accounts on VC too.Their bags seem to be fine (although I saw a couple that didn't look quite right) however it is hard to tell if they are just reposting or using legit their own photos. They want a bank transfer which obviously doesn't secure the buyer if something goes wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi all,
I have a burning issue. Hope someone here can help me.
I recently sold a bag to someone in my country. I bought my C24 via Vestiaire , got it authenticated by bababebi and had it for almost 4 years. When this person bought it, she realised that another person has the same exact bag as me —- same leather, colour, hardware, size and the alarming part is same serial code and blind stamp.( I know bags have same alphabet year stamp but not serial code stamp?) Now my question is, does Hermes really produce 2 bags of the same serial code plus stamp? So the buyer texted me and told me she contacted the reseller to tell her that she has the same bag as her, and the reseller became defensive, indirectly said @bababebi
is a scam , pasted some complaint website about bababebi to her and also said it’s common for Hermes bag to have same date stamp. The reseller also told my buyer off for wasting her time and not doing her homework. I want to know if this is true about the stamp? My buyer is a nice lady, I feel bad for her. Please enlighten. TIA

Someone might be able to confirm (or deny) this: My understanding is the stamp is the craftsman's stamp, and the craftsman can most certainly produce 2 similar or identically specified bags within the same year. It's not like a unique serial number.

I feel like the reseller’s reaction is, in this situation, implying that the reseller is trying to hide something. We here all know that bababebi is legit and for someone to say it’s a scam and paste a complaint, they are being way too defensive when all the reseller could have said is that an Hermes bag can have the same stamp (if it’s true, I’m not sure). Attacking the buyer is another sign that something is off.

Exactly, as wingnut just stated, it is the craftsman stamp and obviously a craftsman can make more than one bag a year. Hermes bags do not have serial numbers.

Hi all. I've only ever posted in Authentication and don't know where to share this, so here I am. I purchased this "excellent condition" Venere cashmere shawl from The Real Real. It was pretty fuzzy but the more egregious problem was the mended hole. I had a long conversation with two different people about the importance of disclosing such things. The first one offered me a $50 refund; the second one agreed to give me free shipping on a return. It was relisted the day after I received my full refund. Buyer beware.

Thanks for sharing this story - I know you are an expert here on the forums. Makes me even more cautious about TRR.

Yup happens a fair amount. Redbird got a fake and they relisted and sold. I have had to return due to incorrect condition 6-12 times and they just relist the same way and sell again. I did get free shipping to return and full credit back. Sometimes an undisclosed hole ( not even repaired) was on a scarf bc it was in very good condition lol. Requires some fight at times to deal with them. I think there are two fakes on there right now too. Thankfully not selling.

Goodness gracious! 6-12 times? Well now the resellers I deal with are exclusively Ann’s Fabulous Finds and The Fashionphile. Thank you so much for sharing!
