I’ve been scouring all the usual reputable pre-loved sites (AFF/Fashionphile/Rebag etc ) for the past month on a daily basis as it’s the time of year when I gift myself a bag. This is a beautiful bag. I love gold. But the resale prices I've seen recently boggles my mind. This is not a popular size for a kelly and it's not BNWT. I guess it's a consequence of all the posts I've seen recently about this prespend issue (I have never had to prespend, but I haven't purchased a bag in a couple of years at least). Since this one is less than the 1:1 I read about, I guess it's a deal. I've seen smaller used kellys being offered for 30K. Sad for people who want a bag.
I'm with you. It’s just that the market is so hot right now with people moving from Chanel and YT unboxing. Not to mention that everyone wants everything for their 'collections'. Of course people can do whatever with their money but I do not understand those who get so many BKC and want more and more and more. I think this will just get worse. Sadly.I’ve been scouring all the usual reputable pre-loved sites (AFF/Fashionphile/Rebag etc ) for the past month on a daily basis as it’s the time of year when I gift myself a bag.
I’ve become really disheartened because of the insane prices even on the less popular styles I like!
I refuse to pay full retail for a 5 year old bag with issues that I could buy in store.
off topic but ugh. Its just greed now.
Yes.Is fashionphile a reputable reseller for vintage Hermes? Would you recommend getting an additional authenticator to confirm that the bag you purchase is real? Thanks!
I looked at the guepards scarf and wondered if they were nuts. They are probably testing the market using a big cat scarf to see if they can sell other HS than those by Kermit Oliver (for example) at an outrageous price. A collector who is desperate may go for it.I’ve actually emailed them when they put up a fake scarf but they just reply about their amazing authentication process. How hard is it for their awesome experts to google a design and research if it was ever produced in the “questionable” format.
I’m shaking my head right now at the price on this……..
$3100![]()
This one is authentic. The reason for the price is because the edge is mink fur. It's hard to see in their pictures. worth knowing-I have never looked at either site.I've bought from Xupes recently (Jypsiere) and from Labelsmostwanted - both online in the UK, both brilliant service and exactly as described.
Thank you for this information Hscarfcollector! This one is authentic. The reason for the price is because the edge is mink fur. It's hard to see in their pictures. Pic #3 shows it best when you zoom in
Not sure if this is the right thread to post this: eBay seller natalibabaia_0 is selling fakes. Basically, all his or her listings for Hermes cashmere/silk shawls are fakes. I already reported this seller to eBay. Below is one of this fake seller's listings:

Was it ever determined that ALL of the seller's items are not authentic? I believe I've purchased a scarf from her in the past. I'm going to search for which one.....it's been a while. Not sure if this is the right thread to post this: eBay seller natalibabaia_0 is selling fakes. I got scammed for my first time ever- I'm heartbroken! Stay clear at all costs, I got too excited and was easily swayed .Same here, I came across them too. Has anyone bought from them and are they legit? Thanks!

I read on this forum that she’s apparently moody: if she’s in a good mood, she replies nicely. I was tempted by her barenia once and she was nice enough to reply to my inquiries. Also as I was new to the process. But I didn’t go ahead. My husband is against buying from reseller.
If you’re comfortable to divulge, can you please elaborate more of your encounter?
