This is a beautiful bag. I love gold. But the resale prices I've seen recently boggles my mind. This is not a popular size for a kelly and it's not BNWT. I guess it's a consequence of all the posts I've seen recently about this prespend issue (I have never had to prespend, but I haven't purchased a bag in a couple of years at least). Since this one is less than the 1:1 I read about, I guess it's a deal. I've seen smaller used kellys being offered for 30K. Sad for people who want a bag.
I’ve been scouring all the usual reputable pre-loved sites (AFF/Fashionphile/Rebag etc ) for the past month on a daily basis as it’s the time of year when I gift myself a bag.
I’ve become really disheartened because of the insane prices even on the less popular styles I like!
I refuse to pay full retail for a 5 year old bag with issues that I could buy in store.
off topic but ugh. Its just greed now.

I'm with you. It’s just that the market is so hot right now with people moving from Chanel and YT unboxing. Not to mention that everyone wants everything for their 'collections'. Of course people can do whatever with their money but I do not understand those who get so many BKC and want more and more and more. I think this will just get worse. Sadly.

I’ve actually emailed them when they put up a fake scarf but they just reply about their amazing authentication process. How hard is it for their awesome experts to google a design and research if it was ever produced in the “questionable” format.

I’m shaking my head right now at the price on this……..
$3100 :wtf:
I looked at the guepards scarf and wondered if they were nuts. They are probably testing the market using a big cat scarf to see if they can sell other HS than those by Kermit Oliver (for example) at an outrageous price. A collector who is desperate may go for it.

Their business model is based on flipping. If they slam a really high price on HS, especially 90cm, they're modeling themselves after 1st Dibs. Certainly 1st Dibs is the gold standard of selling high-priced collectibles, IMO. A really high price is inconsistent with flipping's notion of fast turnover, in and out of the market quickly. So TRR's going to have to discover the sweet spot which provides an above-average price in a relatively short period of time. (Good luck with that).

This one is authentic. The reason for the price is because the edge is mink fur. It's hard to see in their pictures. Pic #3 shows it best when you zoom in

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this: eBay seller natalibabaia_0 is selling fakes. Basically, all his or her listings for Hermes cashmere/silk shawls are fakes. I already reported this seller to eBay. Below is one of this fake seller's listings:

Hello Ladies, posting the first time here. If I‘m correct, this should be her online shop:

She has has a huge stock of scarves. Maybe this helps.

Was it ever determined that ALL of the seller's items are not authentic? I believe I've purchased a scarf from her in the past. I'm going to search for which one.....it's been a while.

Update: I've found that I have purchased a CSGM and a 90cm Silk from her in the past. The 90 was a grail, a hard to find item that was over retail so now I am nervous. I also just read the last page here and see that the seller mixes authentic with fake.....and that @Nomad received authentic items so I feel a little better. I do need to have my 90 checked out and have other colorways of the same design to compare. Stayed Tuned!

I read on this forum that she’s apparently moody: if she’s in a good mood, she replies nicely. I was tempted by her barenia once and she was nice enough to reply to my inquiries. Also as I was new to the process. But I didn’t go ahead. My husband is against buying from reseller.

If you’re comfortable to divulge, can you please elaborate more of your encounter?

I have inquired about a few bags in the past, asking about price, condition, more pictures, etc. I ended up not buying any of them. After a couple times, I inquired again and she started being non responsive. I would follow up and then she wouldn’t respond at all. She doesn’t want to waste time on buyers who are not “serious” in buying.
