I don't really like them but I do buy/consign with them. Everything I have ever purchased has been authentic. I mostly just get Chanel bags but my Evie came from Real Real. But you should get items privately authenticated if you're concerned. Their purchase prices are very fair for H bags imo.

In my experience they were not willing to provide more photos unless the item is in a store, then if you call the store directly they will take a lot of detailed photos and do a great job of describing the condition. They did tell me that if the photos or description on the listing do not match the item, then the item can be returned even if it is final sale.

I have purchased 11 items from them so far and had questions about the authenticity of one item so I returned. For a high value item I would get it authenticated for piece of mind.

Although I'm not in the US I bought a Bolide in Peau Porc from them and had it sent to my son who lives in NYC ( customs fees are crazy in my neck of the woods) and comes home often. I was totally happy with my purchase and the bag was as described. I would like to consign with them aswell but unfortunately, due to customs, it's not feasible.

I have only purchased H scarves (many) and some jewelry and SLGs from TRR. I got a scarf last week - it was wadded into a ball and stuffed into their tacky bags and then mashed into the H box, from which the tissue had been removed. That is standard for the way that they treat the scarves, and I have to believe, everything else, too. They have been known to list fake items - I think their claims of expert authentication is a joke. But they undeniably get real stuff and I have never purchased a fake from them.

Bags are listed as non-refundable, so you should be aware of that going in. That said, if you purchased a fake bag, I suspect that if you raised hell about it, they would take the bag back. Their practice is to re-list items that they have been told are fakes.

The toughest issue with them and bags is that they take very few, crappy photos and do not capture the things that an authenticator needs to look at. If I were in your shoes, I would look at the first post in this thread and find out which specific photos Bababebi needs to authenticate from and then I'd ask TRR to provide those photos. I would not buy a bag without having it authenticated and I would ask Bababebi to do the authentication, she is the gold standard for H bags.

Good luck, I hope you find the bag that you want!

I had the same experience when I purchased a shawl. Same wadded up and stuffed into a tacky bag. The shawl was listed as being in very good condition, but it had too many pulls to count. That said, I really love the shawl, so I kept it. ( Chasse en Inde in peach.)

Just bought two scarves, one stated issues, which I was willing to keep, the other had a stain not disclosed. One was packed in larger dustbag, the other small and crumpled up. The worst offense to me was the tag was pierced through the hand rolled hem and had created a run. I will not consign my scarves with them any more due to their lack of care and handling of silk scarves. I would not buy a non refundable bag wth them period.

When there are other sources to purchase a bag from with a flexible return policy, would go that route.
TRR sadly is known for issues specifically with Hermes bags & the process is not so easy when requesting additional
photos unless the item is in the store or for that matter if the item is deemed fake.
It's a very unpleasant process to go through for a return of a bag deemed fake or to be returned
for "condition"issues
Also there items are not always described well (undisclosed smells, stain, condition the list goes on)
I'd look elsewhere, JMO

I get scarves from TRR and oh, maybe 80 percent I send to a spendy cleaners which does a good job with Hermes. Typically this is due perfume odors, slight for the most part, but I can't stand this sort of thing and dryclean the scarves. I also dryclean about 80 percent of the ebay HS I get. (IME ebay sellers rarely admit to perfume odors. If I'm going to buy a HS with stale perfume, TRR tends to offer better prices which offset the cost of drycleaning). I have bought a very small amount of H silver jewelry from them, one or two pieces. The size on one was described incorrectly and it looked odd, like the sterling had been re-plated. TRR does have a good return policy, that is an advantage. I consigned a bag to them based on the recommendation of @etoupebirkin and was very happy with the process, price, and payment. I consider them a good resource for older HS I didn't get the first time around. I

Have never bought a Hermes from them, of the other bags I have purchased I find they tend to have unmentioned perfume odors. One bag has been airing for nearly a year and still smells.
Slightly OT: try boxes of Arm & Hammer baking soda. Their boxes have a removable front panel with a net that gives the baking soda exposure to the odor. Stick 3 or 4 of them in the bag (they're cheap). Worth a try. After a while (3 weeks, a month?) replace the boxes with new ones. This might expedite the airing process.

Just make sure you are comfortable with the description/condition of your purchase, if not request more pictures. Don’t be excited about a nicely wrapped package, it’s not their forte. Lastly be sure to have it authenticated.
They get things out quickly IME, and I prefer that much more that a nicely wrapped package. Whether the scarf is neatly folded and put into the white bag, I don't care, b/c I have so many scarves drycleaned immediately.

True. But I'd rather have good prices than a nicely wrapped package. They're pretty good on pricing, and scarves are easily returnable. Many ebay sellers don't accept returns and if they're an overseas seller, forget about returning something.

I think a Peau Porc skin or bag would be hard to duplicate, certainly not as easy as a black birkin.

I bought a vintage Box Kelly from TRR years ago before they got so big. At that time they were willing to take new photographs from every angle and tell me every flaw. Then they shipped it loose in a big cardboard box! But the bag was lovely at a good price.

Last time I seriously considered a bag from them it was another Kelly in apparently good condition. They were much less helpful but did send additional photos. There was an actual RIP in the bag (not a scratch, an actual hole) that was not shown in the listing.

I would never buy a bag from them again with that non-return policy. Way too risky.
