ITA jelly!! I think I might be an easy target for a sweet talking scammer.. Luckily I have you all here to talk some sense to me! :cutesy: :hugs:
I promise will forget this website and will stay on the safe side. Kaleidoplace, Annsfabulousfinds and Haute Gallery are so great, but it seems there is always someone else who will snatch the best deals first.. :boxing:

I am still anxious to find out if this website is reliable..http://www.pybrand.com/product.php?cid=1&bid=1&page=1
I know it is based on Thailand (hence slightly suspicious) but the seller sounds very genuine and kind on emails. Can anyone tell me if the pics show authentic bags??

Hi

I have no prior knowledge of this seller. I've looked at 6 of their H bags for sale and all look authentic to me. You are right to be cautious of course and only you can make the decision to purchase of not. I would also look at the payment method the seller accepts and would advise against bank wire transfer or similar with an unknown seller.

While I can understand that one can be lured if seller uses faux friendly communication to persuade a buyer to purchasing a counterfeit. I would not condem friendly communication as false as the seller may be genuinely friendly and helpful. I've just answered a post on the accessories thread regarding a seller being unwilling to assist/communicate with a buyer which is clearly not acceptable. However sometimes it seems that sellers both friendly or fierce are under fire. Communication is a two way dialogue and if some of the shabby communication here is representative of how some sellers are treated they may just react with a reciprocal lack of charm IMO.

Chessmont... I couldn't find the "L" in a square, that would let me know that it's 2008. Maybe the Bastia's don't have a stamp. It does have the Hermes stamp...made in France, though! Does anyone "out there" have a Bastia? If so, could you let me know if there's a stamp for the year, pretty please.......:p

Why don't you contact her and ask her where she found the "L" (If I am not mistaken, which I may be, LOL, she said L in the description)

Oh wow fleurs, THANK you so much!! I appreciate a lot that you took the time to see through few of his items on the website! I was very curious to know if the bags in the pics were authentic. I do think he has good pics and he was very friendly on emails.
I understand Thailand doesn't sound very reliable place to buy an H bag, but I think also that the the country has two faces. There are a lot of scammers with counterfeits but also very sincere people. I have travelled there few times and I think that for a tourist that country has one of the most friendly and helpful people in the world.
So it is always possible that this seller is a genuine person. But then again he might not. That is the risk you have to take if you consider doing business with him. I have the impression Paypal convers you with any deals, also outside ebay. Am I wrong??

Paypal won´t help you with deals done outside of ebay. They will only refund you if you don´t receive your package, item not received. If you get a package with a fake bag, too bad. Personally, I would never ever consider buying from an unknown seller located in Thailand.

Me either! No way! Who knows if what you will get will be what is shown in the photos. It's just waaaaay too risky for my amount of risk tolerance.

Nankali, the fact that you are still considering this seller tells me that you like a little risk in your life. Even if his bags are authentic in the pix, that doesn't mean that is what you will receive. I don't know where you are located in relation to Thailand, but is it a little too far for my taste. Sellers in Japan have a very good reputation for honesty, and that is as far into Asia as I am personally willing to go. Since you are unable to determine authenticity on your own at this point, I would suggest that you stick with the reputable resellers and be willing to pay the price that an authentic bag will demand.

I agree with Kallie Girl - pictures of authentic purses on a web site does not mean that the purses actually sold to you and sent to you will be authentic. I think there are PLENTY of reliable re-sellers you can find on this board that have a long standing reputation for delivering excellent service and authentic H items. I am sure there are many other re-sellers out there that also deliver authentic H items, but unless you have objective feedback from many happy customers, PLEASE exercise caution and restraint. I know its hard when you are dying to get the bag you really desire....but if you are patient and cautious I am sure you will find the bag that makes your heart sing from a re-seller you can trust. Good luck :winkiss:

Thank you all for your kind comments!! At this point I actually not seriously considering to buy from him, I was just kind of playing with the thought and trying to find out how big the risk might be.
LOL, dear grace, I don't know if I particularly love to have risk in my life, I think I am too eager to find my dream Kelly, perhaps too eager for my own good..:p But I will pass on this, really, I promise you folks! But it would have been intriguing to know who it would have ended..

Again, thank you all for your great support!! This is such a great place with wonderful people! I promise to stay on the safe side on this slippery sloap. I am in still a newbie with H and learning.. But after few years I hope to have a beautiful H collection (and only with authentic bags)! :smile1: :ty:
