Yes, I actually really like the prune viole bag he/she has listed. I asked if they were afraid of stolen photos, could they please just post more to their auction so that I could have it authenticated (no) I asked for receipts to verify purchase, (and please don't come back and tell me the spill about faked receipts...I know all that, I was reaching for ANY proof of a real bag) The answer to that was "no". I must say, I've actually only encountered one....maybe two other sellers with high feedback with this attitude, one of them sold powertools for a living, and as memory serves, someone else brought the photos he had here, and it was not an authentic bag.

I would have liked this person based on feedback, but upon further checking, they have sold only 2 Hermes bags in a little over a year. I would think it was due to no photos and not being too helpful. I like the color of this bag, it says "brand new color" (not familiar with all the years that colors were released, mostly just more recent ones) Then after reviewing the entire listing, this is actually a bag from 2007. How is that a brand new color?? It just struck me odd that someone would expect you to trust to purchase from them without even showing you the bag.

I think I will ask if they have a store front, or if they do personal meetings, something like that. Does that sound okay??

This seller, MONTECARLOCLUB, has been reselling H bags for a decade or so, They have been on ebay for a long time as well. Their ebay feedback for selling H bags does not reflect how many bags they ACTUALLY sold. (same thing with CDL, NYFE, LUXWEAR etc...)

They want/are used to sell H bags to people who KNOW what they are buying, and my bet is they do not want /need to spend time in convincing newbies about their bags, or their reliability.

You are free to find this does not meet your expectations, but they are free to chose the buyer's profile they want to sell to.

I agreed. Most of my buyers of Hermes bags did not leave any feedback though they e-mail me that they are happy with the bags and some of them are my repeat buyers. So how many bags I actually sold did not show on my feedback.
And yes, most sellers of expensive goods choose who's the buyer they wanted to sell. Buyer does not want problem, seller also does not want problem.

Well put and very accurate.

I think you have to weigh how comfortable you are and adjust your expectations for service since it sounds like members here are supportive of the seller but given the responses they've provided for you how smooth will further conversations/transactions be? If it's a rare item or a great price then I'd pursue it. Otherwise, I personally look for a more patient seller (or however you want to term it). It's great when sellers know what pics are needed to properly authenticate and show the condition of the goods they're selling in the first place so you don't have to bug them for more. If I'm shopping at walmart or target I can accept indifferent service but if I was at a Chanel boutique or somewhere else high-end I expect a higher standard of customer service. There's plenty of places and other bags to spend my money on. Just my 2 cents. It's difficult when you find something you want and you can't seem to get a bit more information for you to feel confident about the purchase.

I recently purchased a Kelly from Sam of Haute gallery recently. It was my first time buying online and he was very kind. He even shipped my bag all the way to Australia for free and was quick to answer my queries. I would definitely buy from him again.
