Hi,
last week I went to H and I asked a collier de chien. I found a SA so nice and kind, who showed me 2 black cdc (gold and palladium hw), 2 capucine (gold and palladium hw), a brown one and a malachite one! She also offered me a few in crocodile! :yahoo:
I was so excited because last time I was looking for a cdc they told me that they had none. So I asked her if they have them always or not and she told me that they always have many cdc.

At the end I chose the malachite cdc. I'm in love with it. I paid and I saw another SA told her that she couldn't sell me that one! He added she couldn't show certain colors to a person that come in asking for something, because they don't know who I am and I'm not a well known customers!

I swear I have no words, I'm horrified.

What do you think? Have you ever had similar experience?

Wow! Can't believe this happened right in front of you!! Disgusting... I mean ok I get it, it's normal for them to pick who to sell stuff to but please don't be rude?? A little subtlety wouldn't hurt!

In my country cdc is rare to walk in customers too. But never heard of any experience similar to tours. Feel so sorry for that...
Did U get anything at the end?
I suggest you talk to the store manager directly

Sorry to hear about your experience. The SA behavior is not acceptable at all!!

Saw your reveal and feel sorry for you for this experience. Unfortunately, think these SAs have hierarchy, and the newer ones likely are not given the liberty of giving the popular items/color to walkin customers. But the SAs behavior is still unacceptable

Agree Excalibur!! Love the CDC studs as a weapon :-))

You've just given me an excuse for buying more CDCs- I'll tell DH they serve as my personal defense weapon!

You can also tell him you'll feel safer wearing at least 3 cdc's on each arm :)

It's been months since I've been to my local H store. Last time I was there, a SA (who I've seen being rude with other customers before this incident) made fun of my speech impediment as I had trouble asking if my SA was in... I even told her I had a stutter and she still laughed in my face... Needless to say it was an awful experience and was eventually handled, but I haven't been in since. I've never been bullied that badly in a store, of all places. I'm heading back in for the first time in a few days (I *really* want a CDC and/or other bracelets) and I'm sort of nervous, hoping I'll have a good experience.

In general, I've had better experiences in NYC and especially at the stores in Vegas.

I agree. It's amazing how much experiences vary! It's so good to find someone that you connect with that will make the whole experience pleasant, as it should be.

I honestly cannot believe what I've just read ! This is disgusting treatment , and I'm pleased you complained, it will be my first time to Hermes next week in Paris and I'm hoping I'll get decent treatment. I do hope there was a grovelling apology letter !

Yes, the manager was very apologetic. I haven't had a bad experience at H since, thank goodness.

As seen in my post 1-2 pages back it's always adviced to complain directly to the manager of the store and as i did (if you're from Europe) send a letter to Hermès, Paris, complaining about the employee directly and stating exactly what happened. Helped me get someone fired from the Hermès store in Frankfurt, Germany :smile1:

Oh no I did! This incident happened at the beginning of this year, way before my recent purchases. I took a break from H after that unfortunate experience. I now have a very wonderful SA that is taking care of me.

Thank goodness that you found a lovely SA to help you. It makes all the difference in the world!
