The 1st one looks good but I would like to see some pictures of the inside zippered area to be sure and a close up of the hardware embossing.

The second one is authentic but sold, did you buy it?

BTW, these are from the Pashmy line of nylons bags, we have been talking abou them throughout this thread so you might want to have look/read from the beginning for lots of info about TODS and the nylon bags.

Yeah, check out Tod's website- they show all the canvas colors, a tan gator leather, black and white snake leather. It also comes in black leather and a pale ivory-blush (I think they call it shell) leather. When I was at Saks I saw the blue and green canvas and the black and shell leather. They were all georgeous- especially the shell- so pretty.

was literally 3 minutes past closing time, so now I am waiting till Monday hoping good bag(s) will still be there. Fingers crossed.

Second bummer of the day was pulling all my bags out to find a new resting place (the cats infiltrated my bag shelf and were using it as a hiding place) and I found out one of my Longchamp bags may be ruined and got the unpleasant reminder that my original D-bag's not doing too great. Too many times overloading it as a briefcase have finally started to wear down the leather that attaches the metal piece you clip the shoulder strap to on one side and it is in imminent danger of breaking. Sigh. Not a good bag day.


What is the Tod's bag you wished you'd bought new/in season when you had the chance?

For me, it was definitely the boomerang or a sky blue suede (maybe) restyled D bag from 2003 that was gorgeous but I couldn't justify a light blue at that price even though I literally couldn't put it down until I left the store. The boomerangs are still around but some of the excitement has worn off and I can't decide if the bag was too trendy to get now, or if it is the kind of Tod's bag that will style wise last forever (the only kind I buy--I try to keep my trendier choices cheap.)

Ladies..! I finally got it... my Tod's Akan Tracolla Piatta Media. I love everything about her... the leather is divine, the brown colour is TDF... and the quality is superb. The only drawback is the size of the bag a bit overwhelming on me. ( well, I'm petit 5'2). However, that doesnt stop me for eyeing my next TOD's . I just love the workmanship! :tup:

IT'S IN THE MAIL!!!!!
Just ordered a boomerang in brown, this was one of my fav. bags in a loooong while and I got it for an unspeakably cheap price from the outlet. I can't wait this will be my first purchase from Tod's since 2004 when I got a hogan while on vacation.

As you can see below my Tod's are really really old styles (with a small hogan in front)

I just bought the new Besace Media Tote in turquoise leather. I was torn between it and the navy one, but I think the turquoise one is more fun.

The thought of wearing it this spring may be the only thing that gets me through this awful Chicago winter!

Here's the new Besace Tote, along with my other Tod's bags. The wine colored one is one of my alltime favorite bags. I bought it in Italy in 2000 and I still get compliments on it.

The group shot includes my Hogan bags, too.
