The only person I would borrow from or lend to is my mom, but we really don't do that. We even have a lot of duplicate or very similar stuff just so we can each have our own, sometimes we'll even wear them together! I hate sharing stuff with friends b/c it is such a hassle to get it back and I'd hate for them to ruin anything of mine or me ruin something of theirs.

no to both. almost none of my friends like designer handbags in the first place. and I on the other hand am a total clutz, I wouldn't wanna worry about someone else's bag all the time. what's mine is mine, so that would be different if I stain it lol

I'd sooner give away a bag I didn't want than to lend a bag that meant something to me. I couldn't see myself even asking to borrow someone else's bag. It's just... such a personal item!

I've lent other things to people in the past and I've been shocked at its condition when returned...:shocked:

Adding, I have so many bags that I haven't used myself that I don't need to borrow any of my friends' bag. Even if I don't have that many bags, I wouldn't borrow. I don't like to borrow things.

i dont ever lend my favorite bags because ive had bad experiences, but if it is a bag i like but am not in love with i will let a friend borrow them AS LONG as i know they will keep good care of it--i have some friends i will never let borrow bags because i have seen how they treat their own ha

I wouldn't borrow because I don't want to damage the borrowed bag and ruin the friendship/relationship.

I'm very picky with my things so I will never lend it out. Not even to my best friend. I'm sure she feels the same way.

I just LOVE my bags... I'm very picky when it comes to buying bags so if I buy it then I really do love it. The thought of lending something to someone that I love so much just... scares me lol. I once lent a shrug to someone and haven't seen it since... I loved that shrug :(

Anyway I'd be scared about something hapenning to it, I'd hate to lose a friendship over something like someone borrowing my bag and spilling something on it that ruins it or something. Replacing a bag is... ok... but it's not quite the same as having your original bag :) I'm even worse when it comes to shoes.

I try not to borrow things either... I'd just hate for something to happen to it.

I never let anyone borrow my bags or wallets.

A while back i bought DF a Mandarin LV checkbook. and one day his mom saw the checkbook and she was like im borrowing it for a while. OMG i freaked out ... but i didnt say anything cuz it was his mom. but it bothered me so much a week later i asked for it back hehe :)

I have no need to borrow bags, but I WOULDN'T HESITATE to lend one of mine to a friend.
I never understand WHY this is such a big deal to other people. I'd let a friend use my CAR, or even my HOUSE if she needed to. We're talking about a HANDBAG, which really doesn't mean squat in life's big picture.
