My mom can borrow anything she wants at any time. She could rip my stuff to shreds and I would still let her borrow.
I would let (and have let) my two closest friends and one of my coworkers borrow any bag they like. They are all really into high-quality goods and take better care of their stuff than I do.
I have one aunt and a cousin who I would let borrow *certain* of my bags if they asked.
As for anyone else, probably not. I don't like lending my stuff out to people.

nope, never.I let a friend borrow a small leather guess bag i had had for a while but never really used. she returned it really bent out of shape, and had many scratches on it...like it looked like she threw it around her house and stepped on it

NEVER!!! I don't borrow/lend bags anymore. i did it once a couple yrs ago, it was never retured. i kept asking & she kept saying that she "forgot" then i saw her carrying it at a party a few weeks ago...she never said a word about returning it. im so mad...
It depends on the person and the bag. For senior prom I lent a good friend one of my black evening bags for the night. I would have no problem lending some of my evening bags out (there are a few I'm too attached to) to close friends, but I would never lend out my Coach/D&B/LV bags.
I had a very close friend where I used to live and she shared my love of purses and shoes and we were the same size so we shared all the time. Most of my friends here don't quite get my love for them. I never had a problem when I lent something to her and I wouldn't hesitate to lend something else to a friend, depending on the friend and the bag.
i don't lend bags to anyone- not even my sister even though she begs me to. i sometimes borrow my mom's bags but they're the ones she doesn't like or use anymore and she ends up giving them to me anyways. i wouldn't lend my bags out because they can be damaged or never even given back (yeah i know people like that), and most people i know would not be as careful since it isn't their own bag. i don't borrow people's bags (except my mom's) because then i feel obligated to return the favor and lend out my bags.
Probably not. I'd get too paranoid even if it was my best friend. I know she wouldn't do anything to it but they're just too precious to me for someone else to carry it "risking" it being scratched or harmed
My mother, yes. Any bag she wants even though she isn't as careful with it. I can also borrow any of her stuff.
I have borrowed and loaned evening bags. Other than that I don't think I would or could. I know too many people who treat their bags like crap for me to be ok with lending out the bags.
