Thoughts on Coach's Fall bags

There were a couple that I liked...liked not loved....and for the price range, **No Way!** I think most of these I would only get one season...tops....before I wouldn't want to carry them because they would feel dated to me....actually, after looking through the second time, they are already starting to feel dated LOL.
I keep catching a country western feel with many of them...is it just me??

Thanks again for your thoughts, folks....

I'm really curious after my last purchase (err....yesterday) about the new line coming out this fall. More than one SA that I've been close with at Coach has said that I might be surprised with how much I will like the new stuff. They keep mentioning that what I've seen (on the link I've shared) isn't really representative of the whole line for Fall, and the manager at Coach yesterday describes it as being "like the old Coach, only better. What you saw is for runway -- the really showy pieces. There will be a more toned down look that you'll love."

That's hard to believe given the examples shown in that link (aside from the turnlocks, etc)
....but....well, I guess we'll see. I'm certainly curious. (But the price point increases seem to be a given, and I'm bummed and turned off about that. To me, Coach has always been - and should be - about good quality leather goods available at reasonable prices and MADE IN NEW YORK).

Again, we'll see. We're all watching you, Stuart.

I LOVE the new bags and can't wait!!!!! It's going to be hard for me to pick at least a couple of styles! I can't wait to get specific info on them......

I don't think I've loved a bag since the Anna Sui dragonfly -- which is still one of my top favorites -- if it just wasn't so heavy, but I'll suffer :)

I don't care for what I've seen (for me since I'm more minimalist), but I have a feeling I may find a small black crossbody with silver or gunmetal hardware that I like, since he is doing a lot of black with silver.

I have my eye on a Bal crossbody. Not sure if it exists, but if it did, I probably wouldn't want to pay for it. If Coach comes out with small bags for fall, I may find one that I like.

I am not a fan of the country western/ Alaskan looking designs however I do like the hardware colors and some leathers colors. I really like the studded borough but, I hate the shape of that bag it reminds of a paper shopping bag. Honestly to each is own when it comes to fashion based on this fall season I will continue to stay away from Coach especially if the price point goes up.

OMG, I really dislike most of them. But then, I am fan of clean minimalistic lines with not many details.
I also think some of them look cheap and dated, like something you can find at TJ Maxx.

I agree that many of these look too trendy and like Coach is copying someone else. I hope the retail releases after the "for the runway" releases are a lot better.

I don't like any of these either. You really have to wonder what the point is of "for the runway". Just to get attention? Chanel cosmetics always shows absurd runway looks and I just don't see the point.

I like minimalism but perhaps this is a direction Coach is moving in? Though I don't think this will really represent more than 50% of the bags you see in FP stores when it comes out. I'm sure they'll have a few of these designs but toned down.

I personally am looking forward to the Fall line. The ones I saw reminded me of the 2005-07 era and I would love for some of those designs to come back.
