Thoughts on Coach's Fall bags

I am actually thrilled by this new lineup. I'm looking forward to seeing these in real life.
I know that a lot of people are really liking what Coach has out now, but I haven't bought any of the newer stuff at all. Since last fall I've spent my time tracking down Legacy and older Madison (and straying to RM).

I know I am in the minority but I love some of these bags. And I feel Coach for the last few seasons has been really boring and this is a welcome change.

I personally am looking forward to the Fall line. The ones I saw reminded me of the 2005-07 era and I would love for some of those designs to come back.

I think I read in one of these threads concerning the fall bags, the specific details will come out in June: NEXT MONTH!!! Anyone know anything about this?

No thank you! It is bad. The sheepskin fur? The horrible plastic with the poppies? My favorite one to hate is that same plastic (or is it leather?) with the hot glued jewels on it. It looks like my 3rd grader embellished it.

I'm worried about Coach...

To each his own...

Your third grader can look forward to an exciting and rewarding career in Fashion Design. I do love a good long-term objective.

coach's identity crisis seems to have returned with a vengeance.

these fall 2014 bags are so ugly. I dare the SAs to sell them with a straight face to my suburban soccer mom friends.

Please make sure you stay away from any of my fall reveals, then. Most people here can find ways to express their preferences without calling someone else's bag "ugly" but it seems like maybe you won't be able to. Like I said earlier, to each his own.

But seriously, those are the runway bags. The most shocking of the collection and most of them probably won't even make it to full production. The line will be back filled with middle of the road bags perfect for those who like to keep things nice and predictable, I'm sure. :)

ETA I am a complete and total, literal, "suburban soccer mom", and I say bring on the fall line!

From a design standpoint...interesting. Probably the bags I like the best are the one with fringe. I don't know what they did to the Borough.
Would I wear any of them? No. Would I spend money on them. No. But someone else will. And if this is like typical runway fare, they can't all be like those featured in the gallery.

I am looking forward to the Coach fall bags as I tend to like fall bags more. I really have not cared much for the Coach lineup of late. My last two bags were Romy mint and Daily bag Silt. I have been shopping from my own collection of Coach and carrying my PS1, Mulberry Alexa and a few Bals for good measure. I am liking the looks of the top handle bags and fringed bags for Fall 2014.

As I am compelled to say every time this thread bubbles up, I'm very excited about the fall bags and can't wait to see how they translate from runway to boutique. I'd definitely buy several of the bags I saw on the photo editorial.
