When I went to try it on in store the display model had horrible cracks in the glazing where the flap attaches to the body of the bag. Same issue as pochette metis. All the bags in store has glazing issues. I got one as a gift bc it had already been ordered before I discovered this bag has the glazing issues. Mine showed hairline cracks after the first day of use.

I completely understand your feelings about the black seeming a bit plain compared to the other colors. I went back and forth on the colorways but eventually went with black. Reason for me is that black will make it an all around no fuss bag. Matches everything in my wardrobe. I figured I will get another colorway of the Cassie when the “right” color for me is released. In the meantime, I will add charms and different straps to jazz up the black if I feel the need. Considering how functional the bag is, no regrets whatsoever.
I think one of the reasons I love this bag so much is because it's like playing Tetris to get all the things I carry to fit just right lol. I've found it does fit a little bit more than my LV PM did. I'd love to see how others organize and to be honest, I'm just nosey 
lol. Here's mine for now...I used to have all my accessories match but I've found as I got older I like to be a little bit more of a rebel lol.

I would have bought either of those instead of my Chalk but I don’t like pink and red together.

All the bags in the store had this issue and I showed it to the sa and she was kind of acting like she couldn’t see it, but I was like these cracks are deep, and bad. And will only get worse. And she said they have a 1 year warrantee and no one has complained yet. but I was like yea but it’s already defective and it’s brand new? So if I buy it do I hand it right back over for repair? That makes no sense. I looked at 4 bags. All had this issue, even the ones brand new from back-stock. The display model was the worst. I didn’t buy that day, but i do have this bag bc my husband ordered it before I discovered the issue in store. Mine got cracks within the first week.BAD NEWS. my black Cassie is showing the glazing issueOnly had her for less than a month. Both sides of the flap.
Thanks! It's a custom dye job done by me about two weeks ago. I took the signature one with the red & pink colorblock (I got at Macys with a gift card), stripped the pink/red color & dyed it black. I took a risk & it worked out. But, hang tight...with my luck, Coach will release this color option...lol.
BTW, I have three Cassies & all are still brand new. If there are glazing issues, I don't see them!

It looks amazing and I would definitely grab one if they make it in this color. The glazing issues is going to happen with all flaps bag at some point. Just have to use it and be happy.
