There is something about Cassie...

Omg when I watch bag reviews on YouTube and they bend and flip the flaps (not just on Cassie vids) all the way back and open the bag extra wide it makes my heart hurt! Lol like I know they need to open it to show the interior so I get that they’re hard to hold but they can do some B roll shots of aiming the camera down at a table and into the bag as they gently hold it open. I’ve seen so many bags man handled on videos and then they say “oh I’m gonna return this not for me” !!!!!

This is such a big pet peeve of mine!!! I've watched so many WIMB videos and they still have the tags on!!! It's one thing to just put your things in to see if it works for you but it's another thing when you're throwing pens, lipsticks and loose keys???!!! Then they're bending the flap back??!! Then they say they're returning it. Someone is going to get a bag you treated like crap! it actually makes me so mad!

I know it’s frustrating, I’ve received bags that were supposedly new that were obviously used and had crumbs in it! I’ve returned bags packaged up better than I even received them from the manufacturer lol

Sorry for the late reply. I don’t know if Coach uses DHL, I ordered mine off of Zalando, I can confirm that Zalando uses DHL. I guess you could email Coach and ask them, I checked their homepage but didn’t find any information. Good luck!

Oh forgot to mention: on Zalando the bag is called „Blaise“, not Cassie. Same bag though. Seems to be the same for some retailers in the States. No idea why sometimes they use a different name.
Also nice: Zalando has a 90 days return policy let me know what you ended up doing

I have been lusting over a black PM for the longest time, but never pulled the trigger mainly due to all the quality issues going on (even though they are mostly limited to the monogram version). However, I've been loving my Cassie so much that I will totally go for a red PM in case Coach does not listen to our prayers for a red Cassie.
I saw one comparison between the PM and the Cassie on youtube I believe, but maybe you could share your thoughts after having used the Cassie for a while? I would be very interested!

I like them both. I exchanged the signature coach for the chalk. The Cassie seems to be a little deeper and I like the additional compartments such as the little slip pocket on the inside and the zipper pocket.

I have both the empreinte noir PM and the Cassie in black and have been using my Cassie everyday since I bought her!

I also have the black PM and bought the Cassie in black a few days ago. I thought maybe I was the only one who would get both bags in black. Redundant, maybe? They are so similar but I thought the black Cassie was so simple and understated. More so than the Empreinte.

You're not alone! I loved the Cassie right away for that exact reason!

Definitely wouldn't mind a solid pink Cassie. I want the Chalk one too but that would be my 3rd one.

BAD NEWS. my black Cassie is showing the glazing issue Only had her for less than a month. Both sides of the flap.

I am so sorry to hear the bad news on your Cassie. You should bring it to Coach. Someone posted that Coach has a one year warranty.

I have been using mine since I got it as my daily bag and I do not baby it. I can see that the back-sides (where the flap meets the body of the bag) are weak points, and yes, the glazing could crack there. Mine is still intact, but with the design of the bag, I think the glazing will eventually crack. I hope this can be avoided. I have some rubbing (light scratches) at the bottom sides, too. I must have scratched it somewhere. But yeah, it is a bag, it's meant to be used. I'm ok with a few marks here and there because of regular use. But with the glazing cracking after just a couple of weeks of use, that should not happen.

Oh, that's really good to know Thanks again Right now they only have the Monogram one on Zalando, not the black one. But I still have to wait a little anyway, so we'll see

I went to the boutique yesterday to try on Cassie’s. Black looked a bit plain compared to the pink and the blue/ cream/gold color block. But oh that soft leather is sooooo nice. I am still deciding if I really need one or not (well I don’t really need one but trying to decide if I like the style).
